Maybe this person reads FT and saw @ramadaone post on the 16th of August hinting this. We knew Vardy was back training but unsure how near he was (Cooper is Machiavellian) and we know Vardy would be chomping at the bit for this game.
-
Correct but he’ll likely want to help his current invested club, I’d imagine he won’t be making it too difficult for Palace, that wouldn’t make sense.
-
Yep they’ve signed a few since Olise, Kamada and Sarr.
-
One year left. Think Palace are sniffing and he currently is contracted to the club that one of Palaces’ main investors also owns shares in.

Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)

Mavididi did fine 🤪 You’d want him back in his natural position with a natural striker bought in. -
He did very well tonight, his tenacity and drive is probably what we will help us this year. Definitely an athlete that works hard. I loved his aggression numerous times physically pushing players - we’ve missed that.

Leicester 1- 1 Tottenham Post Match Thread

Fair assessment and the fans fed off that. It’s been a horrendous summer and I had zero hope but the fight the players did show filled me with a little hope. It’s a shame it’s just a loan but Buonanotte is player and a half. Very tenacious and already feels like he’s the creative heart of the team not that is too difficult at the minute. -
On the ball as always, thank you.
-
He is a technically sound player and for where we are is a good signing improving the midfield over those 3 for sure. But will the club get rid of those surplus to requirements and more importantly bring in the creative aspect we’re actually desperate for. With months passed and now two weeks left you’d think this is all too much. But yes Skipp is a good premier league and I’m quite happy with it as a signing on its own merit.
-
Whole new squad should be bought in based on that logic. Forget about creativity and goals I hope Rudkin is prioritising another DCM.
-
And the player less likely to come.
-
It was nuts. And like a pleb I was rooting for Ajax like we stand any chance of signing the player either away.
-
Apparently we rejected a bid just under £1m for the only club showing an interest in Iversen - Derby. If anything happens it’ll be a loan at the back end of the window by which time it’ll be too late. And we surely we want our dynamic DOF to have more time to focus on deals for players the other end of the pitch. Looking at these players is fine and would be a step in the right direction if these are the ones we’re looking at. But the amount of moving parts to move players on and get players in is huge. I just don’t see how we revamp our squad in a couple of weeks. I’d expect we go into the season with Ward as number 2.
-
I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point it came to that. I’m convinced he was making a point in picking the sides he has. He’s seemed very frustrated at the lack of action and like Enzo probably already feels like a fool, with the board saying one thing and doing the opposite.
-
Just what we need a 5th goalkeeper.
-
Ipswich certainly seem to have a plan and are looking at least prepared and it would seem not putting themselves at too much risk should they get relegated.
-
It’s the risk you take. Hoffenheim have a good scouting network and regularly over perform for what they are as a club in terms of size. Krameric didn’t work here but he ended up Hoffenheim and he has been a success. This is one of those shrewd signing you make that may provide good value later on too. But we can’t attract the players even after agreeing with the selling club. Signs are ominous.

I guess my point was if a deal has no relevance to Leicester or we’re not taking it further than it makes sense to avoid being used by agents in the media, as always seem to happen, stop them dead in the water. There doesn’t seem to be anything positive for the club to be a club that is used to pad out rumours. Agents seem to be giving us the run around in general, whatever strategy the club is using it isn’t working. And I guess if change needs to happen one area you’d get better at is the relationship we (as a club) have we’ve the media. Doesn’t mean given a running commentary to fans - our club is far from being media savvy (amateur at best) and seem out of touch in general when it comes to its usage whether that’s communications with fans etc.
-
The club should use its linked UK journos to quash these rumours. Therefore preventing us being used by agents & Fab this way. Then we can get on with our own business albeit we’re relying on Jon Rudkin to do any of that.
-
While we know the need for 4 - 5 players recruited, we also need to factor in the likely same number of players sold/ sent out on loan. With two weeks left the mind boggles, that’s a whole summer’s worth of work.
-
I don’t care about the opinion of those that defend the club now, I’ve tried to be balanced and give the club a chance. How many times can we blame variables we can’t control when it’s blatantly obvious this is just incompetence. We’ve had since the end of April early may to start work and yet again there appears to be no coherent plan and a scatter gun approach with pitiful outcomes. It’s amateur at best. And we watch our relegation rivals strengthen and we’re the ones with the likely handicap of a point deduction. While other teams have teams likely working throughout the summer our DOF was larking about on a boat and celebrating with Top.

Crazy penos

I'll put you down as a yes for the protest Monday then?

Givemesport in May, a hot exclusive apparently. The old ‘Leicester are preparing a bid’ and £20m according to their sources and not something they made up for clicks. With no follow up link from any reputable source, yes I’d have him here and we’re desperate for someone who can score but the club haven’t been actually linked to this player.

No
