  1. That Arsenal kit is god awful.
  2. I think Vardy's 200th will come in the FA Cup if anywhere now. Hoping we can run this into Palace for a result of some kind. Our league form needs a boot up the arse.
  3. It feels so much like you are dealing with kids who have a made a den and don't want to have anyone else play with them. "We are playing board members today and you can't sit with us." God forbid the people running the trust and comms are professional. That genius response from Digby, the Foxes Trust emails not going to a load of people and the link in there signature to the website being wrong, and I got an invite the Teams for the AGM from a sender named "Auntie Sarah." I'm nit picking, but a bit more professionalism wouldn't go amiss. Someone said it last year that they didn't like that all the pages on the website of the board members were them posing with trophy's and not much of any other substance, and I still agree with this 100%. It's a game of make believe and play time masquerading as a fan trust.
  4. Turkey's usually don't vote for Christmas. There needs to be something in place to make it simpler to remove board members apart from CoC breaches. Right now it just feels like the trust is a bunch of folks playing pretend and having meetings and making minutes for fun, with some people on the board taking it a lot more serious than others for sure. Hoping everything is fair and transparent.
  5. "Host City Representitive" and winners of the MLS Supporters Shield. Is DAZN the only TV deal?
  6. Another weekend where we avoid sitting in the drop zone. Everton will more than likely lose their game in hand and having another game to play in back end of December won't help them for sure. Newcastle will be a tough game for sure.
  7. I don't recall there being a meeting or vote of the members to see who their preferred candidate for the FAB was. First anyone knew about someone being chosen was the LCFC post. Felt very Jobs for The Boys
  8. Because there isn't much promotion of the trust to a younger audience would be my guess. I didn't know it existed until I came to FT. If you Google "Leicster City Supporter Group" you get Foxestalk before you get Foxes Trust. If you do find Foxes Trust on FoxesTalk, the link in the Foxes Trust signature isn't correct either and leads to an error. The fact that I have also joined for over a year and all I have is a sporadic newsletter in my inbox and a certificate posted to me doesn't strike me as something the young are looking for. The newsletters also reading like the meeting notes of from Handforth Town Council without Jackie Weaver also doesn't help. I could go on, but there are some great folks on the trust board and I hope that these appointments and Lynn staying onboard will help start the trust getting a boost it needs.
  9. Happens a bit on the tube still.
  10. I thought this. 8:15pm seems too late. I think even Monday Night Football is 8pm kick off. A game wrapping gone 10pm with public transport not going to running that late means some folks have no choice but to go early. Doesn't help however we can't sell the ground out now as the tickets are pricing folks out. It's that or someone has blocks of seats in B1 and 3 they aren't giving out. The £64-72 price for an adult sure as shit ain't helping there.
  11. Biden using the powers he has and now knows the Supreme can't come after him without reverting their previous judgement of how far presidential powers stretch. Trump's list of pardon's from last term has some interesting characters. This next term will have more interesting wrongs as it is clear that corruption will be a lot more rife.
  12. I miss the days when our scandals were simpler. I feel I need to know a lot about gambling commision laws around the world to keep following this. Is the summary Crypto = scam and we didn't do due dilligance basically and took the money? If so, looks like the chickens are home to roost. No one will get sacked for it, or stand down. We live in a world now where you can just pump out a fake apology statement and move on hoping the news becomes tomorrows chip paper.
  13. Am I the only one worried if it is RVN he has no track record with teams who aren't one fighting in the top half of the league. I can't be arsed reading 48 pages since I last checked this thread. What's this stuff about Rudkin?
  14. Potter was clearly holding out for the England job and the FA either didn't interview him or went with Tuchel. I don't think he is the right person for the job, but in all honesty I don't know who is. An attacking manager will maybe make enteratining football but our issues are at the back and it just won't work. Same with Ruud. Moyes maybe, but is he in the market any more? I think it will be one of those moments where we sit and name all the usual on the merry go round and then we end up with someone from the French 2nd division.
  15. If you two are still needing them, we can talk and I get them posted to mine and we then get them shipped to the states and cover postage. Let me know.
  16. Another weekend where we won't be in the drop zone. Shit performance or not, they won't make a change until we are 6 points adrift at the bottom for sure.
  17. I went to Threads as it was already there, but set up a Bluesky now. Finding people to follow on Bluesky is a pain though. Doesn't seem to do reccomended
  18. There was one at Market Place for certain. I bet it's just this one has moved indoors. It was teeming in there last time I went, if it got any rowdier a funeral may have broken out.
  19. The due date for our son is Jan 3rd, so I feel I will be going Leicester Royal at some point between Christmas and New Year.
  20. The vote will be before the AGM I believe. Foxes Trust just sent an email out to members saying "Should there be more candidates than vacancies, a ballot of all members will be held from the 17 December 2024, details of which will be provided if and when they are required. Results of any ballot will be announced at the Foxes Trust AGM on 13 January 2025." I believe there will be a proxy vote system for people who can't attend in person. I will be one for certain. If you message @Foxes Trust Reform, they can add you to the Whatsapp community and they will keep you updated on everything.
  21. With Gary and Huw Edwards gone, the BBC has saved a wedge for sure. I wonder if MoTD is close to running it's course. As someone was saying on LBC earlier, there is most likely only a certain generation now who wait until Saturday night to watch highlights when extended highlights are on YouTube 15 minutes after the final whistle.
  22. Reading some of the BBC news articles this morning, they said Linda McMahon of WWE fame was on his campaign staff. They also said, and I don't know if I took this in a different way to how it was meant to come across, that there was a guy on his staff who "had some experience hiring a lot of people quickly" as all his previous staff died on 9/11. Surely there was a different way of wording that...
  23. CNN lines up with everyone else and projects Trump wins Indiana.
  24. Virgina also too early to call
