Me too. Still on board for HMS piss the prem
-
Agree, he can dribble and has played some great diagonal passes when not much has been on. His defensive frailties are made up for and the fact he isn't as quick as Justin or another left back matter less when we are inverting the RB. Think it makes a lot of sense. And that is from someone who has not rated him at all.
-
Can someone redo that poll where everyone panic ordered
-
Faes left back with permission to play diagonals is inspired

By stretch I think we have a 95%+ chance of going up but it's feasible we don't. Definition of stretch perhaps
-
This is interesting. I think control and huge possession aren't the same thing as Ric says. We struggle to control the game when a team won't engage us at all and it doesn't matter how long Vestergaard has the ball at his feet. Again, think next year we will have more control as teams press us and we can gain numerical advantages in midfield etc.

I think I'm one of our most optimistic fans and I find the timing of these posts wild. It isn't even that big a stretch for us to not go up still.
-
Been saying this for months. Think our style has always been suited to playing teams who come at us, as everyone in the Prem will. HMS PISS THE PREMIER LEAGUE is ready to depart. Think we may take a few pastings off the very good teams though.
-
I remember this. Thought it was a joke at the time. Holloway did the same for Blackpool at some point and nearly beat Villa and got fined.

Kdh is so class to having an exceptional game but keeps making tiny mistakes
-
Very nervous for this one. Would love a win

Boom

To be fair Real were extremely lucky. Man City could have scored quite a few goals but wasted chances. Real had absolutely nothing. Not sure it's the same as us beating them 5-2 where we absolutely countered their style and deserved to win.

Any suggestions other than the obvious? We aren't there for that long (a couple of days) but looking to do the Uffizi, Accademia, Duomo, a Tuscany wine tour and check out the bridges.

That's true but it's still controversial because of that. I agree with the rest of your post. The writing for the DLC Old World Blues on New Vegas is some of my favourite Fallout writing (although not everyone's cup of tea).
-
Just to point out to people who haven't played them I would class this as pretty controversial (in terms of Fallout 3 being average). It has the highest score of the lot on metacritic for example. New Vegas is my favourite although I haven't played all of them. 4 is shit.

I agree. Think he committed so much time to teaching the players to play this way it is hard to admit it isn't ALWAYS the way to play, and give the players other instructions. If he has another summer I think we will see more variation in how we play. But if we don't go up that realistically isn't good enough.
-
He has turned Vestergaard into a good player though and that deserves plaudits
-
I still think he's decent but agree on the point about having a back up plan. Yesterday was truly atrocious and we had no variation at all except a few longer balls that were easily dealt with. I think one of the key problems is your players need to be near perfect to pull off this chess-like strategy. We give away a goal every game and misplaced passes mean we don't slowly build up pressure with increasing overloads in midfield that gradually break a team down. Still don't think when it works that it's boring, but that's a different argument. Weirdly I do think his style would work better in the prem where teams won't just defend against us and try and nick a goal. I don't agree at all that it's Rodgers-ball but do think we are seeing significant weaknesses to this different style.
-
I think we'll walk this, but we do need another big performance following on from the last 2.
-
Buzzing after that. Birmingham were terrible
-
I don't agree. This would be true if there was any leverage, but from what we've seen there isn't and the club don't even bother to answer the questions. It would show more and have more power if the club was excluding the trust than the trust doing absolutely nothing to represent the fans.

Midnight mass is excellent; agree with it being the best thing he's done. Samantha Sloyan is unbelievably good in it.

I'm a big Mike Flanagan fan and this was up there with his best work for me. Only problem being that some of the more interesting characters are only in the first few episodes while the less interesting ones are in more.
