Been out the gym for a while with a few lower back injuries but going to get back into it with some very light sessions over the next few weeks. Started physio for my back but unfortunately won't be able to deadline or squat for quite some time. General strength and fitness is my aim after doing nothing for a few years. I really want to strengthen my core and do some very light lower back work so that im building a foundation for when my back is a bit better. Does anyone have any ideas of things I can do at a beginner level (not been serious in the gym since covid) for core and back?

Stronglifts 5x5 (although id add a couple of extra exercises at the end of each session) is a great way to start off and increase strength quickly before moving onto another programme, and is 3 days a week
