Still 100% in the camp of saying that police officer should have been done. In fact this post kind of shows how the two sides weren't arguing about the same thing. It was never about whether the dickhead on the floor "deserved" it or not, it was to do with the fact that it is not a police officers job to be booting people in the head.

The Milan comment was quite obviously a joke. But I've just gone back to a further point than you (he initially appointed Pearson) seeing as you are claiming some form of strong determinism. As i said, Pearson set us up for success (not sure it was just him but there you go). IMO you have completely overstated his influence on some of our latter success (Rodgers FA cup win etc) which happened under Top's tenure and having moved somewhat away from some of the things Pearson set up. We have such a fascination at Leicester of attributing our success to one person. For some Vichai: for others Pearson. Our football club was successful based on far more than Pearson's actions and ignoring the other aspects because you want to call it Pearson's project, despite his mixed success at other clubs, is bizarre. Other clubs have gone far further than we did down a similar path to become successful, and although we are a case study I don't think Pearson created the science-led (not sure what else to call it) model which has been very successful as Brighton etc. I think you are nostalgic in a way most people are on this forum so happy to take pelters. Again I love Pearson, and again think his tenure was one of the key foundations for our success. Just don't like the 'Pearson's project' point. On the point of the topic, Top is so clearly out his depth it is painful to watch. His lack of learning and apathy to the concern of fans is what I will remember. But the main point is that he was there when the luck ran out lol. Now sell us to someone more suited to club ownership please.
