Schmeichel 8 - I've a strong feeling that if we'd had Schwarzer in today we'd not be celebrating a win - he made a some good saves at critical moments

de Laet 7 - Had a good game. Better than Simpson defending and offers a threat going forwards. Only minor mistakes

Morgan 7 - Got battered and bruised, and certainly looks much better than he did a couple of months ago

Huth 8 - Best of the defenders

Schlupp 4 - At fault for the first and had a strange game. Can't understand at all why Pearson chose to take off de Laet instead of him

Mahrez 4 - A few flashes of brilliance, but he wasn't so helpful today

Cambiasso 9 - MOTM (really don't know how Sky gave it to Vardy...). Full of class. And energy! Fabulous

James 8 - Good, and hard-working - and nice understanding with Cambiasso

Nugent 7 - Fair

Vardy 8 - Realy scared the West Ham defence, especially in the second half. Surprised he didn't score tbh

Ulloa 5 - Poor game the main contributions were the penalty and a great flick on from the de Laet throw-in

Albrighton 7 - Didn't do well taking a man on, but not so surprising after his time out of the team. Came more into the game as it went on with some lovely long passes.

Kramaric 7 - Looked much better than Ulloa

King 9 - Am surprised others haven't rated him higher. I'm not sure what more can be asked of someone on the pitch for ten minutes. Looked composed, nice passes and scored a goal, and that's after a lack of appearances

West Ham - Not a lot to call between the two teams except that we wanted a win much much more than them

Pearson - Took the risks when he needed to and it paid off. Great!

Clattenburg - Pretty good game. Conservative with the cards

I don't get these 8s and 9s for Albrighton. He did ok, put in a few crosses of differing quality, gave the ball away a few times, but some people after the game (not necessarily on here) were making out he changed the game and needs to start in place of Mahrez, which is absurd.

Schmeichel - 7. Not been one bit convinced by him for a while but I thought he made a lot of very decent saves. The one from the deflection didn't get enough praise on here for me.

De Laet - 7. I thought he had a very decent game personally. Moves the ball a lot quicker than he used to.

Morgan - 7. Hats off to him, he's improved lately.

Huth - 7. Standard Huth.

Schlupp - 4. Shite. Brain dead bit of play for their goal and as usual missed a glorious opportunity. I got laughed at for saying Dyer was a better finisher. He does some things very well but some so badly that it's costly, and that's what for me will hold him back, and it's a shame.

Mahrez - 4. Haven't a clue what's happened to him. Came back from the cup of nations with a bang at Arsenal but he's been shite for weeks now and I say this as someone who considers him my favourite player - get him out for a little while.

James - 6. Standard James. Tidy player who needs banning from the final third. I think he's got very decent control.

Cambiasso - 9. MOTM. Lead by example. He's the absolutely perfect player to have in this kind of situation. He's got the mentality and the quality. I believe in this bloke.

Vardy - 7. He's growing on me playing on the left. Fantastic shift again today but further proof that he's no finisher.

Nugent - 6. Nugent had a good game other than his awful penalty. For me he shouldn't be taking them.

Ulloa - 4. I'm going right off him. He's been shite for ages now. Why do no chances ever seem to fall to him anymore? I'm getting tired of the number of free-kicks he's giving away.

Subs;

Albrighton - 6. Made a few mistakes but had a better game than the one he replaced. Best crosser at the club by a mile although his over-tenacity will cost him and ultimately the team if he's not careful.

Kramaric - 7. Nice seeing him with support. He's technically very good and was unlucky not to score. He could be a very big player in these next few weeks.

King - 7. Gets a seven for his goal. I'm made up for the bloke.

Pearson - 8. Pearson lost my faith in the Hull game. Today he has made one of the best possible strides in terms of winning it back as he seemed to display aspects that he'd been missing for a long time. More willing to adapt his tactics, gave chances to the likes of Albrighton, wasn't afraid to make big decisions early on. He got it spot on for me. I've voted stay as I believe he's finally got himself into the mode where he's going to be of some use to us for the remainder of this season, and rather than bleating on about what's happened already, lets look forward. Still deserves a serious review at the end of the season though.

Referee gets a 7. Big call spot on (mother of god.jpg) and for me did little wrong.

West Ham a 5. Thought they weren't that bad.

Probably have done better than Schlupp did for their goal, and Schlupp's chance.

They're of a similar standard in terms of overall contribution I think, but they're polar opposites as full backs. Still think it's a joke how we haven't signed a single one since Konchesky himself Zoumana pissing Bakayogo.

Schmeichel- 8 (Some really crucial and excellent saves, one great kick for Vardy to chase, looked better in the box).

De Laet- 7 (Got forward well, stuck to his task at right back)

Morgan- 7 (Solid display, is improving)

Huth- 7 (Good signing, imposing figure)

Schlupp- 4 (Just not with it at all)

Mahrez- 5 (Some neat runs but little end product)

James- 6 (Attacking wise he needs to improve, in the middle he looks strong)

Cambiasso- 8 (Superb, classy on the ball, keeps the play going, glorious goal)

Vardy- 8 (Ran himself into the ground, got into great areas, should've scored)

Nugent- 6 (Don't think the penalty was terrible, mixed link up play but we do play better with him in the side)

Ulloa- 5 (Some good touches, some poor touches, gives away too many soft fouls unfortunately)

Subs-

Albrighton- 7 (Worked hard and played with purpose)

Kramaric- 7 (Excellent on the ball, loves to twist and turn, good cameo)

King- 7 (Huge goal, kept the ball well towards the end, calming influence)

Cambiasso (8) just edges the fans as MOTM.

Schmeichel 7 - performed how he usually does: some excellent saves, generally but not invariably good distribution, came for two crosses all game and made a Horlicks of both of them

De Laet 6 - looked a little leggy

Huth 7 - solid, premiership defender

Morgan 4 - he may be defender but he's a liability with the ball. May still have a future at LCFC, but conclusively proved this season he's not a premiership player

Schlupp 4 - two moments: their goal, and his shot. It wasn't just that we all knew he'd miss, but that we knew he'd slice it. Looks like he's never played before

Mahrez 5 - thought he did ok actually

James 7 - another solid 90

Cambiasso 8 - tired in the second half but was on for 9 after 45. Worth having on the pitch even if he can't move.

Vardy 5 - shame about his first touch, his passing and his finishing. The rest of him could make a player.

Nugent 5 - missed four pens last season and was always going to miss this one. As someone said on MOTD last week, when he doesn't have time to think he's class, when he does he looks an average championship player. NP must appoint a new penalty taker now.

Ulloa 5 - got no change at all out of Collins

Kramaric 7 - wish he'd scored

Albrighton 6 - for energy rather than end product

King 7 - because...

Only Cambiasso's performance warranted anything higher than a 7.

James was poor again, it baffles me he still gets in the side.

Schlupp... I love him when he's on form, when he's not... God he's terrible. No composure on the ball and makes poor decisions. The rest of the backline were ok, no more than that.

Gave Kasper a 6, two good saves but still terrible at commanding his area, flapped and got nowhere near the ball from 2 corners.

Ulloa held ball up well, Nugent helped create but can't be missing penalties in games like this. Vardy was good but can't finish and Kramaric looked a threat when he came on. Gave them all 6's.

The player that changed it, although it took him a while to make any sort of impression was Albrighton. If Mahrez can't be f***** anymore, get Knockaert back on the bench and start Albrighton. Quality crosser and Ulloa needs that type of service.

All in all, not the greatest display ever but 3 points is all that mattered.
