HighPeakFox Posted 21 May 2015 Author Posted 21 May 2015 I should have put Sunderland as an option, perfectly reasonable answer
ramboacdc Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 southampton to me. the rest all seemed beatable to me. fortunately our luck changed.
Monsell1976 Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 I think it's a hard one to call, there was some winnable games in there, but how we performed against the lesser sides, it was a matter of hoping we could win every game. West brom away, if I had to choose, the whole away end walked out and celebrated like we won the league, and your hopes were raised, but the fear of our shocking form coming back, was always at the back of your mind, well for me it was.
Ollie93 Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 I said it on every single game. "Win this and we will stay up"
Staffs Fox Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Swansea for me, Both West Ham and West Brom were last gasp winners and everything was telling me our luck would run out against a good Swansea side. However I also thought if we were to win and make it 9 from 9 going into Burnley our momentum would see us over the line. After the manner of our win, I started to believe
Mark_w Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 I thought it was very likely after Burnley away. But I wasn't confident until after Southampton that three more points would be enough, so Sunderland.
Guest Col city fan Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 West Brom. .We kinda knew really.. Vardy's goal was priceless
Corky Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Burnley, just a huge result given the stakes. The way we coped with the pressure on the Newcastle and Southampton matches was excellent, really impressive stuff.
David Guiza Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 West Brom for me, back to back wins and the style of the win also. Granted they were a little on the beach, but we just didn't stop, back to the form of the start of the season. A draw would have been great, but winning in that manner clearly gave the players a huge boost, also the first time we played with Albrighton and Schlupp as wing backs I think? Each win was huge though obviously, the West Ham win was a massive relief of tension and frustration. Edging the win over Burnley, given the circumstances of both teams, was the stuff relegation survivors are made of - and the other home games were all massive too, particularly the manner of the win over Newcastle.
Robin JD Popley Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Burnley - went to the West Ham game with a laissez faire attitude of what will be, will be but then after a slight springboard the belief came back to myself and many other people I think that we could actually do this. Beating Burnley was a massive turning point... As was the decision Nigel made to recall Mark Albrighton.
