Recommended Posts

I Posted my concerns over stringer in November an d got shot down , he is arrogant , was anti Pearson , and asked pathetic unprofessional questions , and took every opportunity to have a dig at Pearson , when we were struggling .

He is just out to make a name for him self unfortunately it has not worked for him he must go .

No that didn't happen obviously, as I was talking tongue in cheek about his future club. I'll do a Rafa rant if that suits you better

FACT: no player or backroom staff and manager, will partake in ANY interview with Ian Stringer.

FACT: The reasons no players will talk to him on air is due to his conduct and comments on air, that are purely his OWN opinions, not the Fans as he repeatedly saY.

FACT: fans deserve to have a say in their local radio output as it is they who pay the frigging licence fee.

FACT:Suggesting it was the end for Nigel pearson after the Southampton game was not only stupid it showed the whole club and it's supporters that he does indeed have an agenda.

Better?

Not really no!

Why you couldn't produce those statements to start with stinks of just jumping on a bandwagon to make yourself feel popular with the general public on here. Well done, you should be very proud of yourself.

How come tho, in your initial criticism, you refer to Ian Stringer as if you are addressing him personally (As if you think he's the protagonist to whom you are replying) I quote.....

"Thanks Ian for your input, but along with your average commentary and pitiful interviews it's bull shit.

The problem is this. The listeners that tune in for the game want to hear interviews with players, manager, or backroom staff. Because of YOUR OWN conduct, interviews and anti Nigel agenda, the club will have no dealings with YOU! The fans are not at fault for wanting interaction with their club and if the players themselves have sent you to Coventry, I think it's pretty ****ing obvious what the problem and solution is.

Jog on to the next club telling all and sundry what frigging sandwiches you had on your commute stopping only to tell them that it is your job to ask difficult questions, and then informing them that while you were talking sh1t they've had three penalty claims and a man sent off.

Incompetent Tit.

Bye Ian, don't let the big blue premiership door smack your ass on the way out" End quote

Then in an attempt to argue my point you address the argument in the third person i.e. addressing me.....

Bizarre to say the least, but I guess it's what is to be expected when you come over as being someone who is the result of relatives having sex.

Decidedly so. Thank you.

Do you feel "Important" now?

What a sanctimonious little sh1t you are.

why do I care about being popular from what I posted.

Get off your high horse and if I'm on a bandwagon then at least I'm sharing it with nigel and his, mine and your team.

I suppose we're all wrong though and your all knowing superiority should be bowed down to.

Who in their right mind would gain self importance from posting on a frigging football forum.

You sir are a cant of the highest order

fingers crossed mr stringer will be saying the same thing soon, you sound as arrogantly clueless as each other.

I don't mind stringer, enjoy the commentary but sometimes I feel he has it in for Pearson, and intentionally looks to ask him stupid questions... which is why he refuses to talk to stringer

It's not

I thought it was just the whole of BBC leic as remember once them saying they had tried to sort it out offer alternitives but club wouldn't budge

The question was about it being a boycott of the whole beeb which it isn't as he's been talking to 5 live, motd, football focus etc. All season. As MrRandomSilly has said before though they aren't under obligation to do local bbc outlets but have offered to should RL offer someone else to do the interviews.

Really it's RL and their listeners who are losing out through the alleged actions of their presenter so given that people can get content from almost anywhere post match, it would be better to mend that bridge temporarily and send someone else in so that they can get more exclusive content. Then rebuild relationships away.from the public eye.

Not that my opinion is worth much though :D

Quite the opposite I believe, the club will talk to BBC Leicester, just not Stringer.

BBC Leicester have refused/not took the option of sending someone else to talk to the club.

Personally I find the whole situation to be completely unacceptable.

The club is obviously a private business and can do what it likes. It is however, a very significant part of the local community who support it with their money.

The BBC is a public broadcaster funded by licence payers money. The fact that for whatever reason they are unable to produce a local football programme in which the host is allowed to interview the manager or players is an utter failure of their responsibilty and job as a public service broadcaster to provide a proper service to the public which funds them.

It really is time this is sorted out. The BBC have a duty of responsibilty to all on here to get this done. The club frankly needs to grow up a bit.

I have no wish to see anyone sacked but in my line of work if I made a gesture or said something that upset a major customer of ours which resulted in them refusing to speak to us I don't think I would be in my job for very long.

This pathetic situation needs some grown up thinking so that next season we don't have this situation which is a disservice to the fans and an embarrasment to the BBC.

Is it because the bbc are too pc and afraid of upsetting one of their employees that they won't just get someone else in to do the post match interview . Let stringer carry on with the match comentary and get Matt Elliot to do the post match seems the ideal solution to me, I mean he's a footballer and knows how to talk to football managers and as a football fan he knows the questions other fans want answering from the manager.
