Moonstomp Posted 10 June 2015 Posted 10 June 2015 Konchesky,Hammond, steveherbe, soup nazi and moonstomp. Decent walking football team there ( sorry lads!) Some days easier to walk than others mate (always faster than Konch though)
Moonstomp Posted 10 June 2015 Posted 10 June 2015 Can see this list changing post Thailand tour and Simpsons' court case. And some of those retained only because they have a current contract will go out on loan to recoup some cash. Need some extra quality in though
foxinsocks Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 saw the mercury today - it didn't mention Nugent. I am not his biggest fan but he is useful in a variety of roles.... he seems to have a +ve effect on the squad - who still had to keep their heads up after so many defeats... and I would like to see us hold on to him - he can't be worth a lot and I don't expect other PL clubs would be in for him... does any one know what his position is?

I thought he was given a 2 year deal last summer, so he still has another season left.

I would keep him for another year around the squad then let him go on a free the year after. Can't see us getting much of a fee for him if we sold him to be honest.
sylofox Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 That was exactly my first thought too...!!!! A bit odd, but there we go. Was he holding the camera?
Father Ted Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 His contract was always running until 2016, apparently. Something about erroneous information about it ending in 2015. The Mercury mentioned it in that Wasilewski piece... http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Marcin-Wasilewski-signs-new-contract-Leicester/story-26635996-detail/story.html So Cuntchesky got a 2 year contract yet we wouldn't offer Lloyd Dyer one?! Mental. What was Pearson thinking last summer.
glenelgfox Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Dyer must be kicking himself for not taking 1 year deal as it all panned out re our survival and the fact he was on outerfor most ofvthe year. A decent season from him may have got him another year plus his bonus had he stayed.
lgfualol Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 I'm glad Dyer didn't sign tbh. It allowed Schlupp more game time.

LCCFox96 Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 How about us offering Boruc a role as backup keeper? Gone to Bournemouth on a free transfer I think.
Hack Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 Gone to Bournemouth on a free transfer I think. Ok, sorry, didn't know.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 What's wrong with Hamer & Schwarzer? I prefer Hamer personally as I think he performed quiet well when he was in the starting XI but there is already healthy competition in the goalkeeping department.

MC Prussian Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Nearing the end of his contract here at Leicester, Gallagher now joins Preston North End on a permanent deal (two years): http://www.thebee.co.uk/news/local-news/1645502/paul-gallagher-signs-pne-deal/? All the best at Preston, Paul!
