GaelicFox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I love Singha beer, never tried it before. Yea it's quality ...stunning with a nice green curry
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 More importantly, was there enough Singha for the entire duration of the game? That beer has a tendency of running out early.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Love the bottles of this. They could have stuck them in the fridge a bit earlier on Saturday though.
Tincy Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 lovely pint managed to order 6 pints in one go, so not sure why other people had trouble
Staffs Fox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 The service was shambolic on Saturday. Most venues have a dozen or so people just pouring so there is rows and rows of pints ready, most blokes will have cash in hand pass you £4 over get your pre-poured pint in less that10seconds, done and onto the next customer. I went for a pint when Albrighton went down about 3 mins before HT and there was already a bit of a queue however I thought it'd go down quickly but where I was in G2 they were pouring to order! Which meant each person wanting a pint was taking a minute or so add that up over 20 people and you've obviously got a problem during a 15 minute break. I thought people must have just being awkward customers but when I got to the till I asked for a pint with 4 pound coins ready the man said I'll see if they're ready, comes back to me and says 'it'll be a minute mate', then asks the two blokes behind me and they say 'Two pints please' and they get a 'couple of minutes' response at HT!! They know a lot of blokes will want a pint so when the game is going on just pour them and have them ready. Also some grounds have people walking around selling bottled beer which eases congestion. I missed the opening 3 mins of the 2nd half and I necked it!
Wymsey Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Customer service is not one of the club's strongest points.
Staffs Fox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I was in sk3 and they already had them poured I thought it couldn't have been all over the ground where it was as bad as where I was,
yorkie1999 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Rip-off. At the food kiosk in SK1 I asked for a lager and got a half pint out of a bottle, poured into a pint "glass" and charged 3.40 for it. Only stuff on draught was ipa (Indian Pisswater with no Alcohol)

goose2010 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I don't get why anyone drinks at the football? maybe before if you have a bit of time, but the max your going to get at half time is 15 minutes to drink a pint and the next one wont be for another hour or so after that so why bother? Surely you aren't that desperate for a pint? and don't get me started about people that leave 15 mins for half time and come back 10 minutes into the second half! seriously you have a ticket for the football not the concourse. Go to a pub that is streaming the game and save your self some cash!
SpacedX Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 knee jerk reaction I should get it looked at, seems to be a recurring problem ... whatever I'm done with this forum

I can have a few before and after. If no queues or they are fast so be it i will buy. But im not missing the game for a measly pint. Club needs to do a better job at readying for halftime so the queues arent silly.
