I was ( fairly ) reliably informed in the summer that Kingy and Drinkwater really didn't like/get on with Esteban. So it is interesting now that they've started a lot more confidently and look to have learnt a lot of lessons from mistakes made last season. Long may it continue!

Maybe EC was an arse behind closed doors who felt he was better than everyone else? It was surprising that he didn't win "Players player of the year" so again this may suggest he wasn't that popular

While I'm extremely pleased with the play of Drinkwater and King during these first two games, it certainly looked to me that the game got away from them a bit in the second half. Hopefully that'll improve as they settle into the season; still, I can't help but to be encouraged by what they've shown.
