Bryn Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 Don't like Mahrez central today, can't influence the game and it seems to be stifling Schlupp when be drift wide. I'd hook Albrighton for a striker; I wonder if today is as good a chance as any to see what Kramaric can do.

It has not worked out for Mahrez in this match, it has barely worked out for okazaki at all this season. He wouldnt have brought anything to this game IMO.

Mahrez spent most of the half chasing down their defence and bar the missed chance none of it in dangerous positions. I wouldn't say that's his fault, we're just not playing him to his strengths. It was encouraging to see him back in the right wing where he belongs in the last few minutes of the half. Ranieri doesn't mess about when things aren't working.

glenelgfox Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 Ridiculous playing Mahrez as a striker. Utilise his skills etc. Where he has made his reputation - roaming behind the front two! Simpson offers no attacking flair whatsoever and has been caught out of position defensively a few times.

cityfanlee23 Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 Albrighton has been quite good on the ball but wasteful distribution, I'd go 4-3-3 and put mahrez on the wing, not worked out for him behind the striker this game, but then again Palace always set up well.
