Monga to Man City £10 Million - Official.
thegaffa replied to Aus Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think Monga has the ability and with the right coaching, to potentially end up like Eze has. Only his determination, dedication and the right environment, will see him fulfil his talent. I rate Page higher though. -
The only strikers that we had last season were in the youth teams but we played Daka and Ayew 🤦♂️
-
Agree 100%, he’s like a typical Pearson type of signing, young, hungry and with something to prove.

Yes mate he had 3 children with his ex and I’m sure he’s enjoying himself by trying to knock up his new wife 👍 -
Russell Martin had a 1.4 points per game average over his managerial career. so 64 points per season average (46 games), so basically a 10th place finish. This is such an uninspiring appointment, but with the idiots that run the club, it’s only to be expected.

Fuchs was a Pearson and Walsh signing, prior to them being sacked. They obviously viewed him as the right character, and that he had the right ability to add to the squad back then. We have seen his leadership and character over the years, to know that those key aspects are needed to manage our club, especially with how it is being mismanaged by the board. does he have enough experience?, probably not, but it is about the same amount of experience that Pearson had as a manager before we appointed him. I am all for giving him the chance, if he is the right person that is in the running for the job and actually wants it.
-
He has been poor for a long while now but in his defence, there generally isn’t a forward getting in the right areas for a cross (certainly not a capable one) this season.
-
Totally agree, I meant to put the back end of his reign
-
The usual display since the end of Maresca’s reign. inept, turgid and spineless.

Daka and okoli are stealing a living as footballers
-
He looks the real deal, very impressed. he always shows for the ball and he carries the ball well. him, Mukasa and James would compliment each other well, when in possession of the ball.
-
Inevitable….. we are a shambles of a club, run by inept imbeciles.

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official

I think he could be decent, i agree with those who say that it’s too early to write him off, he’s just settling into a new country with the best 2nd tier division in the world (I believe), and with the busiest league schedule. he has come to us late, with international breaks breaking up the settling in period of getting to know players and how others play. If he had been here for pre-season I am sure he’d be a lot sharper and his performance would have been better so far. -
He is a hybrid of Lennon and muzzy combined, in their early years. Wanted him for a few season now and this just proves the types of not only players but characters, that we desperately need at the club.

If he can press, he will be better than Ayew, and if he can stay on his feet, he will be better than Daka…. So the bar is pretty low for him to be a success here. in some of the clips from him playing in the MLS, I was quite impressed at how he has very few touches before getting his shots off, the defending though was terrible. -
Think he will be my favourite ever JJ to play for us and surpass Jason Jarrett’s spell at the club. on a serious note, he was very impressive a couple of years back and could be a fantastic signing.

I agree with you but unfortunately as fats and stephy play on the opposite wings to their strongest foot, they are more inswinging crosses that they provide unless they beat their man to the line and cut across them.

Some good suggestions there, Boadu and Sheaf especially. -
Fair enough mate, let’s call it a truce 🤝
