The Monetary System

During world war 1, We promised palestine to the Zionist for promise they would get the USA, to join the UK as allies, Before they joined us, the USA were very much sided with the germans....

So to round this up, They funded Germany, They funded the UK, The funded Austria-Hungary,

They then promised america as allies to the uk should we promise Palestine on victory.

That was not for Gain? The Zionists claim to be "Jewish" but they are not, They go against Judaism. We promised them their "Homeland" that we governed at the time, in return for US allies and victory in world war 1.

Please don't tell me this is not corrupt or for any sort of gain.

If this is not proof that the rothschilds, rockefellers and Morgans are not Zionists, then there is no hope.

If you seriously want to deny they are Zionists with everything that has gone on in history, and how they manipulated entire countries into wars and controlled them throughout, then I give up. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/palestinianauthority/9645925/Britain-must-atone-for-its-sins-in-Palestine.html

I do deny it, please do.

Zionism

Zionism is a movement founded by Theodor Herzl in 1896 whose goal is the return of Jews to Eretz Yisrael, or Zion, the Jewish synonym for Jerusalem and the Land of Israel. The name of "Zionism" comes from the hill Zion, the hill on which the Temple of Jerusalem was situated.

World war 1, Zionist bankers offer britain american help during the war providing britain give control of Palestine...

Not really sure how you can legitimately deny that when we acted on the very definition of zionism, in return for war funding and victory with american allies, who were actually on the german side... and were also funded by the same people..

I'll give you half a kilo of apples for a 94/95 Colin Hill and a 98 Tony Cottee.

I only trade in buttons, lonely one socks, and used cotton buds.

I did suggest bartering as an alternative, but Lee quickly dismissed it. I think you've both proved there's definately some mileage in it lol

I do accept tin foil as an alternative, preferably unused.

I actually learnt a bit with this thread. I'm going to stick with capitalism. (Even wars force the hands of innovation and design). I don't want another war, but soldiers are not the players they are the pawns.

Which made me think; the current issue is the same as it's always been, It's not wealth.... it's power.

A human flaw I guess.

Good for him, wish it was me.

lol typical sexist behaviour from Webbo... it was a female ;)

Mind you, like almost anyone i wouldnt turn it down either.... it just shouldnt be offered in the first place.

The easy answer is to have a pay structure that ties the highest paid in a business... to the lowest paid.

For example, the CEO of  the bank gets (ooh i dont know, lets say) 50 times the salary of the lowest employee. So the cleaner gets paid $25000 per year, that means the CEO gets paid $1.25 Million. every one else in the company gets paid a sliding scale based on their (perceived) value to the company.

Sounds good and easy dont it?

No, but it's your money when UK bankers give themselves bonuses on the back on bailouts costing the taxpayer billions...

The ratio of Worker/Ceo compensation was around 1/6 on the turn of the 1900's

Only 1/20 in 1965

Now in some businesses, it's 1/1000

Capitalism can work... but it's completely out of control, and it's more damaging to the global population long term than it is beneficial.

The bailed out banks do have bonus restrictions in place but as they're still part publicly owned, and the eventual return on the public investment into them depends on their performance, it's preferable that they're able to offer compensation packages sufficient to attract the best talent. More public money will be lost if the banks perform poorly with cheaper staff than it would if they perform well with expensive staff.

Restrictions are okay, but our bankers took out bonuses after the banking crash bigger than the entire first round of public spending cuts......

That's not restriction.

Say no more

Seen it many times, and it was correct in her reign, but today it's not happening, capitalism is making the poor poorer relatively because of ridiculous monetary policy.

Thatcher expanded the money supply rather well,

And she actually took control of banks, Labour gave their control away!

Thatcher Nationalised regulation of the city, Labour privatized it.

You cannot expand the money supply 3 fold in 10 years and not expect catastrophic damage,

Also on that video, I've always liked the part where the backbenchers are shouting "Cancel your resignation"

If the private banks want to pay large bonuses then why shouldn't they? If they think the staff are worth it then good for them. It's not your money or mine so we don't have any right to tell them what they should do with it.

The financial service sector has propped up the UK economy for decades. It's the only major thing we're really good at anymore. I'd rather those companies operated in the UK and paid UK based staff large bonuses than watch them pack up and move to frankfurt or Hong Kong because all the top talent have left the country to go where they still pay large bonuses.
