So what's the deal with there being no replica shirts available recently?

Hi all!

I'm a season ticket holder, currently living in Kagoshima, Japan. I'm really keen to get my hands on an official 15/16 home shirt, size medium.

Provided it's in good condition and is either blank or with 'Vardy 9' on the back, I'd be happy to pay £200.

My father is also a season ticket holder and is UK based, so he could do any money/shirt exchange.

If you or anyone you know might be interested, drop me a message.

Thanks,

Steve

Fairly sure the club order stocks waaaaaay back in summer and their suppliers aren't able to then run more off. Consequently, they have no ability to respond to increased demand based in exceptional league performance this year. That's what comes of having a major supplier like Puna or Adidas etc

That's commitment! Way this post is written though, looks like you'd pay me the money through Western Union and you're a Nigerian prince, right? Surely you could find a shirt on eBay for cheaper.

are shirt sales really important to premier league clubs with the tv money getting bigger.

ive read revenue in ticket sales isnt much of a factor in a top flight clubs income.

also the fact our shirts are on a one year cycle does it make sense for the club to have a rather limited stock?

the club shop/merchandise in general seems second rate which i dont think our owners would overlook unless it wasnt important to them.

its a sound investment for him,

a 2015/16 leicester shirt with vardy 9 is going to be worth about £2 million in 100 years time.

Absolutely correct. Puma lead time is an incredible 6 months. So to get any in stock now they would have had to order in September and even back then predicting this level of demand would be impossible.

Crazy thing is apparently Puma have one of the better lead times. lol

Fair play to you mate although you should just pick up a batch by stopping off at Thailand for us all on your way to the Newcastle match!

Alas, I'm not yet a Nigerian prince. Just a lad from Oadby! Nothing on eBay.

The shirts made in Thailand are not the same quality. The badge's colour and shirt colour are dodgy.

Just had a look and ebay and one of the thailand-made puma fakes is selling for 56 quid so far!

We are massive!!

Where did you order those from Carolina?

Yeah 2nd that, they look like the best fakes I've seen yet

The black away ones still aren't great, they don't have the King Power proportions very good. But the home kit looks great.

Someone was selling on ebay (having bought it off ebay). They put the fake against the rwal one and it was much lighter. Oddly the fakes have puma badges that are embroidered and some authenticity label on front whereas real ones don't.

Gutted like many that I didn't get the white one as I saw it in store in sept shortly after they started stocking that one.

Given the length of this thread I must be mistaken but I wandered through the market place on wednesday and I'm sure there was a sports shop with shirts in the window.

That's jc sports. They don't have the regular sizes neither.

I couldn't get my head around why there weren't any sizes available online so emailed the sales director. He told me they can only place one order per year, and never would have been able to forecast the unprecedented demand this year, given the team's successes. Unfortunately they can't re-order due to lead times and factory capacity. Still, he managed to dig out a black away shirt from somewhere and I duly got Vardy 9 on the back - if we win it and he wins golden boot, plus retains the 11-straight record, it will be a collectors item in years to come!

Went on the King Power site this afternoon out of interest and found this

Firstly:

1_lcfc_banner_allsize.jpg

:giggle:

Secondly:

Be the top spender with King Power between 6th and 13th March (There is still time!) you can win a signed Riyad Mahrez shirt.

http://www.kingpoweronline.com/en/lcfcpromotion

And Thirdly:

Replica Shirts.

http://www.kingpoweronline.com/en/ShoppingMall/leicester-city/lcfc-replica

Now the Home shirt, i'd say is a fake, it's not got the Puma logo and it is 790THB (£15.96). The Home and Away Goalkeeper shirts i'd say are real, they have the Puma logo's and are 2,550THB (£51.51).
