My firm has just took a bet and we gave the following odds

Leicester to win the league 2016/17 50/1

Leicester to win Champions league 2016/17 200-1

Vardy top goalscorer 2016/17 14/1

Worth a go???

Surely if we win the league this year, the odds of winning it twice, considering European football and four of the top managers in the world managing next season in the prem, must be far higher than 50/1

Counter arguement: Difficult to gave the reigning champions odds bigger than 50/1

It doesn't just reflect the odds it reflects how much money is likely to be put on us.

All logic dictates we will not win the league again, it will be much harder, at least one of the "big" clubs will have sorted themselves out and we will have the added pressure of Europe and being there to be shot at, but bookies aren't going to risk any long odds next season, especially on us.

wonder if we'll be a shorted price to go down than win the league, as reigning champions that would be impressive

Hate to be so pessimistic at a time like this, but I was thinking yesterday there's bound to be some value in the season match bets for next year. Watford to finish above us maybe worth a punt? Stoke?

SkyBet have us as 25/1 to be relegated next season. They also have us at 80/1 to win the CL.

yeah there will be loads of value around us doing "not so good" i reckon. depends who leaves as well i guess. things like finish bottom half etc.

depends who bookies match us up with. we were matched with bournemouth this year lol. probably be everton next year i reckon. maybe west ham. could both easy finish above us.

Apparently, according to statistics, going by our previous results and by our rivals previous results, we are going to win the title on the day we play Man United. Anyone know what odds we would get for that?

Ring one of the Big firms and ask them to contact their traders to give you a price. Im not working today or i could have rang my head office and got you a price. My guess with us being around 11-10 with most firms and with a 5 points lead the most likely out come they will come up with is us doing it with a game t spare so times those odds by 2 and add a little so maybe

Everton Game 5-2 or 11-4

The Man UTD game or Chelsea with a 5 point lead make each of those possible outcomes about the same as each other.Either we wrap it up or we stumble so i would expect  those out comes to be around 4-1 maybe 9-2 at a push.

Im a manager and do not work in the trading dept but those would be my guesses.Like i said ring or email one of the big firms and they will give you a price,Hope this helps

To win the league in these games#

Everton 5-2 maybe 11-4

Chelsea 4-1

Man Utd  9-2

odds are way wrong, because we are 11/10 to win at ANy stage, the odds you quote come at about 4/6

these odds are more like it

before man utd game 8/1 =11%

everton 6/1=14%

man utd 6/1=14%

chelsea 10/1=9%

a total of 48%= our chance of winning the title at current odds

But then doesn't that assume our chance of winning any given game remains constant? Which it won't be. Way too complicated for me to attempt to work out lol

I think you will find these odds are very close to the actual odds you would get. These are the odds for leicester to win the league in these games. Why would you quote4/6 shorter than our outright odds for something that us harder to predict you tool!

Spot on but then take I to account the bookies profit margins of between 14/18% and my quote is in line with your percentages
