There's a lot of pee taking on this thread (there's a shock..) but you'd be amazed what these type of things can go for. Of course, Matt is right..they must be legit. But there's ways of telling if they are or not.

Best thing you can do is to wait back or get there early on matchdays,then at least you know the sig is real(not so easy now we're massive!)But i got a shirt signed by all the championship winning team that way(and NP)To me it means a lot more than buying something that you're not sure about.

Jace Posted 16 April 2016 Posted 16 April 2016 Bought this a few days ago probably the most expensive shirt I will ever buy in my life, some bloke won it in a competition who is a Man Utd fan, has the genuine certificate from the club and is a medium with tags. A lot of the shirts on eBay aren't worth too much because they are not properly verified and most of the shirts are fake too, they all say they have certificates but most are not worth the paper they are written on. The only 1s really that hold any real value are the 1s that come either from the club or a charity where they have been donated.

As a kid I always used to do this, got many signatures, mulitple times from the mid 90's, MON era. Not done it for years, and besides I don't have a shirt from this season Like you say it would mean more to go out and get the signatures yourself and i've never understood anyone buying signed merchandise, for the simple questions over how genuine things are, e.t.c, especially when it's fairly easy to get signatures yourself, but i've missed the boat if you like this season, which is leading me to think about buying one, just not got too much trust in the sellers though!

Iv got a few signed pics/shirts. Got a yellow shirt signed by our team that included Izzet, Lennon, Kaamark etc, last seasons gold shirt signed by the whole team including EC, I won a Vardy print from his goal V Arsenal and bought his Newcastle and United ones. Some call me sad but I just call them Forest fans.
