please tell me i'm not alone in loving the series? well... the original 2 games at least!

i was sorting out some old PC and Mega Drive games last night and just came across my monkey island collection, it just got me wondering if anyone still plays it.

 

Also, i cant wait to get home tonight and re-install it onto my laptop!

They re released 1 & 2, I played the Secret remake on Xbox 360 a few years ago still a great game with a very good brush up.

 

Le Chucks revenge has also been done now. That is one I have not played though.

 

I would imagine it is only a matter of time until Double Fine get round to re producing The Curse, they've gone on to remake both Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle after the above and I think Full Throttle is in production now, I'd imagine Sam and Max and both later Monkey Island games are next on the list, although quite what they are going to do after that I don't know.

I'm still very disappointed Disney suddenly pulled the plug on the iPhone version of MI 1&2 a year ago. From one day to the other, they were no longer available in the iTunes Store.

And if you wanted to use an older backup, it wouldn't load the game any longer. EVEN IF YOU HAD PAID FOR IT!

Yeah they have to rhyme that's the whole point. You had to go round learning the responses for each insult and you knew you had the right one if it made sense and rhymed.
