Countryfox Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Rivalling topics with no replies is leaving a comment only to realise it would be the last comment with no further replies, effectively killing the thread... So what you are saying is some people would leave a reply so its the last reply on that thread ..... ? Why would someone do that ... ?
Rincewind Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 I have observed that the last reply on a topic is often 'Topic closed'
Countryfox Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Topic closed Aww bugger ! ... I was just about to put one last post on. Oh well never mind.

Vlad the Fox Posted 17 May 2016 Posted 17 May 2016 My topic "Who can qualify for Europe 2016-17", created with loving care 3 days ago still languishes with no replies in "General Football/Sport". 275 views and 0 replies. Shame upon you all! Mind you, I plan to reply to it myself and bump it back up. #Shameless&NoFuchsGiven

Then there are some that complain about there being no events being put on in Leicester and that it is a dump with nothing going on. If they do not even attempt get off their arses to show an interest then they can blame no one else but themselves. Yet we get multiple threads regarding cars, some bloke called Clarkson, trainers and various kinds of food.

Yet we get multiple threads regarding cars, some bloke called Clarkson, trainers and various kinds of food. I've duly noted the Riverside Festival, in case we fancy it this weekend. Thanks, Ken. As no musical artistes are named, I assume the music will be local amateurs (though amateurs can often be very good)? I won't reply to your reply-free thread, just to see if anyone else does. I'm posting this from my car, a souped-up Porsche convertible with alloy wheels. I'm sitting here eating a shish kebab with mixed salad and chillies while watching Clarkson on I-Player.
Rincewind Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Don't know how much I will be there. The people I am with need help with prepping food and set up as well as manning the stand. We are part of the ECO section in Castle Park. I have not looked into it fully yet will need to find the pamphlet i had. If I remember there are quite a few areas with entertainers some pre booked some open mic. We do a nice veg curry if you like spicy food. But it will depend on what we have available on the day or day before for preprep. Think there will be a seating area close by too.
