Thailand 2016

Fair enough, but you know what really annoys - the club making Demarai Gray unavailable for the u21s so he can go to Thailand with the squad. What's going to be better for him as a player? And he won't need a rest because he's probably played about 360 mins this year!

Stop making stuff up you idiot troll

I'm not even sure why, but it all just feels a little bit staged to be me. The video I saw was just rows of "Leicester fans" all with the shirt and those weird plastic clapper sticks.

Yeah, I felt like that. I only lasted a minute watching it.

Could have sworn he wasn't selected

he wasn't selected - but why wasn't he selected?  he was the MOM in the previous U21 fixture. surely makes no sense that they wouldn't want him  ???

if we told them ahead of the selection process that he wouldn't be available then that's why he wasn't selected. seems strange

Wasnt he selected for the u19 euros later in the summer, and that's why he is not part of the u21 atm? I think i remember reading something like that, or i am just confused :D

Leicester City celebrate their Premier League title with a rowdy* five-hour Bangkok bar crawl

*rowdy = A reveller told MailOnline: 'They were all having a great time. The had just won the Premier League title and they were all in high spirits.

'It was a real party atmosphere and you could tell they all wanted to celebrate. It was all really good natured. They were all really polite posed for pictures with fans who asked them. 'They looked like any other group of lads out on the Khao San Road looking to have a laugh.'

The Daily Mail really do talk some shit. The headline calls it a rowdy bar crawl and the article says they were all really polite and good natured. Talk about desperate for a headline.

Subject: Security Advisory: Expected Traffic Congestion Thursday 19 May 1630-1730 hours

Message to All Staff

Dear Colleagues,

Today (Thursday, 19 May 2016), there will be a parade for The Leicester City Football Club that will take place in Bangkok start from 1630 hrs. to
1730 hrs. The parade route will pass several tourist attractions such as Siam Square, Siam Paragon, Central World and Victory Monument before going back to King Power Complex (see the map below).

While the roads will not be formally closed, it is anticipated that there will be heavy congestion along this route and beyond, as traffic patterns are disrupted.

Meh. Feels like nothing but a massive King Power PR exercise to me. They may have put millions on the streets for it compared to our 200k, but I bet the majority there couldn't name you 5 Leicester players. The parade in Leicester, be it with a fair few non-football supporters present, meant far more in every possible way to our City and our club.

Of course it's a PR exercise, that's how businesses make money.

Well, the club has foreign owners, foreign coach, foreign players, foreign TV audiences, and ... foreign supporters. Sounds logical to me.

Bangkok has a population of approximately 6.5 million people. There are always millions of people on the streets!

Great exposure for the club, in a football mad country like Thailand though. Personally think it's fantastic!

If King Power makes more money then Leicester City will have more money for the football club.   Seems like it can only benefit us.

There aren't many in Thailand who can say they were born in Leicester and reminisce about the Filbert Street days. They have to start somewhere.
