Stoke - bottle job of the highest order. 2-0 up against a struggling 10 men side. They're not the worst side we've played this season but I'm giving them a 1 for bottling it to the extend they did.

Kasper 10, not only for performance between the sticks but leadership and ensuring no one was sent off at half time, welcome back.

Fuchs 8 good solid game, gets bonus points for that ball in for the equaliser, it just screamed goal. 

Morgan and Huth 7s much better and showed a bit of fight

Simpson 6 wasn't a great game but steady.

Mahrez 5 thought he needed to come off earlier, looks like he needs a rest.

King 7 great game battled well, tackled well and one of the few to look after the ball.

Amartey 8 bonus points for the goal but also looking better and better as the games go on.

Albrighton 7 put a shift in as always without being. Flashy.

Slimani 6 works hard

Vardy unlucky should never have been sent off, looked fired up too. Think he would have scored today without the red.

Subs Gray 8 needs a start

Stoke 5 thought they looked good in patches but throwing away 2 goals against 10 men is poor at any level.

A word with Morgan after the penalty could have calmed everyone down and their would have been no need to dish out the cards like its Christmas.

Pretty much my thoughts, Ausfox - I think I gave the same ratings without seeing yours. 

 

Kasper made add three or four outstanding saves that helped us to that point as much as anything. Even my 10 year old said "Zieler would have let that in" more than once.

Pretty much agree too.  Would give Huth a 6 rather than 7 but other than that, spot on.  Kasper back was immense, we've really missed him.

Kasper 9 - So much more than an outstanding goalkeeper.

 

Fuchs 8 - Was really good and that cross for the equaliser was just quality.

 

Morgan 8 - Thought he was solid and looked determined.

 

Huth 8 - See Wes.  Unlucky not to score.

 

Simpson 7 - Thought the penalty was unlucky.  Other than that, he contributed quite a bit going forward other than the big boot.

 

Mahrez 6 - Not massively effective once we went down to 10 but he did work hard.

 

Amartey 9 - Showed desire, heart and a goal to cap off his best performance (imo) in a City shirt.

 

King 8 - Got forward and got back.  Gets stick for not being Prem quality which may be true but he's a guy I would least like to see leave.

 

Albrighton 7 - Lots of endeavour and some quality in patches.

 

Slimani 5 - Still not sold on him.  For the money and the reputation I expect a hell of a lot more.

 

Vardy 5 - Was looking sharp and hungry until the red card.  His departure did mean we played more football on the floor which actually looked better.

Ulloa 8 - Better option in that role than Slimani in my opinion.

Musa 4 - Just seems to get in the way more than anything.

Kasper 9 Two brilliant saves in the second half and his personality is massive. Wouldn't swap him for anyone 

 

Simpson 7 Another solid game, thought it probably was a penalty but he was a bit unlucky 

Huth 7 Best game he's had for a while. Solid and kept his cool

Morgan 8 Led by example, defends, gets forward, gets stuck in, he's just fantastic 

Fuchs 9 MOTM Great performance topped off with a great assist 

 

Albrighton 8 Can't remember seeing him work so hard. Fantastic 

King 7 Should have been sent off for the foul that the ref booked Huth instead for. Decent game 

Amartey 8 Best game for us

Mahrez 7 First half better but always shows for the ball no matter how well he's playing 

 

Vardy 7 Thought he was looking dangerous. The red card was ridiculous but won't get rescinded 

Slimani 7 Thought he did really well as a lone striker. When he's on it , he's good

Ranieri 9 At last showed some public passion away from the Mr Nice Guy label, I feel his being guided away from the ref put extra heart into the lads. Got the subs right.

Schmeichel 9 Solid and Authorititive good to see him back.

Simpson 7 - fair performance, unlucky with penalty call.

Morgan 7 Put himself around quite a bit, pl;ayed a good captains game - positive impact on defence and got forward when he could.

Huth 7 Was a positive performance, much better than recent weeks

Fuchs 8 Played as well as we know he can, great ball in for the goal.

Mahrez 6 Worked hard got back quite a lot to bolster the defence, just wish he'd play his team mates in a little more, there were a couple of good opportunities to pass rather than continue dribbling which may have led to a goal.

King 7 Did his best trying to be a box to box player, he does tend to blow hot and cold - hot for this one a good performance.

Amartey 9 (MOM) - Really pleased he got the goal, he looked chuffed to fcuk. He's getting to be a good addition to the side as I've always felt he could. He's a bit stiff legged at times for sure a star in the making. Prefer him to Kingy im midfield.

Albrighton 6 Reasonable workrate but not a patch on the Albrighton of last season

Slimani 6 - Chased the same balls as Vardy when both were on the field, didn't do much with the ball when he got it, hoping a lot better is to come from him.  

Vardy 7 - Looked up for it until that tw@ sent him off

 

Ulloa 8 Good impact sub, nice goal to add to his collection.

Gray 9 A high rating for someone playing such a short time, but he was the game changer

Musa 6 Didn't do anything outstanding showed he could be fast a couple of times. Not really sure where he fits in long term.

Stoke performance 5 Should have won with the extra 2 men

Referee performance 1 Abysmal, would give minus if I could.
