Rob1742 Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 Ridiculous, he needs to go totally and have nothing to do with the club unfortunately. You can't have old management around that have helped cause the predicament we are in. Sack him and send him home straight away. He will end up with four years money, and a PL medal, he will be fine, we aren't

He could Replace Ian Marshall in the Banks suite There will be 23 home games next season , I can't take 23 games of Ian fumbling and crackling the microphone During the quiz
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 He can't do it as manager he shouldn't be "moved upstairs".
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 Move him to the attic, move him to the cellar. Move him to the shed. Just move him. Quickly.
MrLuke Posted 19 February 2017 Posted 19 February 2017 Do you mean move him upstairs like how you tell a child the old family dog has moved to a farm? A little unorthodox.
bald reynard Posted 26 February 2017 Author Posted 26 February 2017 Given the 'backlash', the fact that we've become the pariahs of the football world, do people think this would have been / be the best option for the owners ? Was it even 'on the table', would the Thais have offered it to him and he turned it down, or would they never have thought it was acceptable to him ? If I was in Vicha's place, even if it wasn't considered or offered on Thursday, I would be coming back to Claudio now with an 'olive branch', a way out, to preserve his dignity and the honour of Board. He might not have taken it 3 days ago, he might now. Don't get me wrong, I am in the group of fans who think it was the right (regretful) decision for Claudio to go as Team Manager; but a place on the Board, a Directorship (not Director of Football - it wouldn't work, he couldn't keep any involvement in day-to-day football decision making, given the nature of his departure), would be my suggestion for some 'salvation' - for all parties.

Possibly in the summer if we can stay up and the sacking ends up being somewhat justified. I don't think the timing right now is appropriate. I'd love it personally for him to remain in Leicester, be a permanent resident in our wonderful city! A Bobby Charlton type role like at Manchester United perhaps?

I wonder whether even Claudio might have a change of heart now. Given what he said yesterday about his love for the club and wanting to stay long term, I wonder whether he might now be keen on a place on the Board, if offered.

Depends on the views of the new manager but I see more minuses than pluses at the moment.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 26 February 2017 Posted 26 February 2017 Romantic idea but a silly one. Unless i'm mistaken he's not here to move anywhere
brucey Posted 26 February 2017 Posted 26 February 2017 No. Already lost the plot with decisions this season, he could do more damage on the board. Unless he's kept as some sort of figurehead, which would be incredibly silly and a waste of wages.
