The Stafford Rangers striker, 22, will train with Claudio Ranieri’s squad next week with a view to a deal with the Premier League champions Gordon has been prolific in the Evo-Stik Premier Division and he has been tipped to follow Vardy from non-league to the top. Gordon started his career at Stoke before spells at Alloa, Peterborough, Newcastle Town and Rhyl – and now he is set for a return to the highest level. He is also pals with Cohen Bramall from their time together at Nantwich Town, with Arsenal snapping up the defender in the last transfer window. Preparing for the future....ahem
