What I was saying was, it was Cambiassos fault we were bottom  of the table for the most of 2014/15 season. 

Good job cattermole came to instigate  the great escape. 

But yes  i agree ship Ndidi out  play clattermole again.blooming Ndidi, bag of shite. Same with Amartey.

Need to get safe asap so we can try and sort out a midfield three way of playing for next season. can't really 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 against the best teams and certainly away from home. The personnel can be sorted once we establish a system that works for us with three in the middle.

Looking to next year, from our current squad Drinkwater and Ndidi look safe bets to hold those positions down. It's good to see we have sufficient backup in Amartey, Mendy and King, however I do feel that there's quite a big difference in the impact Drinkwater and Ndidi make in a game compared to the three subs. To push on as a club it would be nice if we managed to pick up a real combative midfielder with a good passing range in order to bolster the overall quality of the squad. I get the feeling Mendy might make a return to France this year now that Ranieri has gone and he doesn't look like he'll get much of a say in the coming weeks.

There are plenty now saying what I've been saying for some time. Ndidi is a proper cm and Amartey isn't. Sorry if you can't get that round your head.

It will be interesting to see Armartey playing in this rejuvenated side. I think he has a future at the Prem level.  Against the strong Prem sides I would like to see Armartey and NDidi in front of the back four with Drinkwater just in front of them. It would mean leaving out Albrighton but we would be much harder to score against. NDidi looks like he could produce goals with someone like Armartey to cover behind him. Though Shakey should have perhaps introduced Armartey for Albrighton at around the 70 minute yesterday.. Albrighton was clearly tired. Very good to hear James is playing very well at Barnsley.

The club now needs to spend in the summer on a genuine creative midfielder. Amartey ain't one.

When Liverpool finally started to play (after they scored) I though we looked really solid with the inclusion of Amartey in the midfield three. Could easily be the way to go against very good attacking teams when our backs are against the walls.

Col could never play central midfield. He'd spend all game passing the ball to the right winger. Then his midfield partner would pass on ball out to the left winger, from which we'd score, and he'd spend the rest of the game telling everyone how he'd said before we should play down the left, and that he knew we'd get success from their.
