Sly Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Surely its gotta be Big Kev Pressman! He's got my vote
surrifox Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Great player- but always thought the boy Lennon was a bit of a salad-dodger
supedaj Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 carey or pressman i'd say garry parker would be somewhere near the top too
Durnerz Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 Pressman, Also Nathan Blake when he first joined.
Macca4lcfc Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 your having a laugh about nathan blake surely?? when he first joined he took his top off in the gym to get weight and he was ripped. 1 of the muscliest ****ers around

Deathside Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 I remember seeing Mark McGoo playing in someone's testamonial game - He easily out-pied Pressman
Thracian Posted 7 October 2005 Posted 7 October 2005 You're all showing our youth again!!!. I was just old enough at the time (1957 I think) to see the back end of Arthur Rowley's career in a Leicester City shirt. Arthur was a prolific scorer (one of the most prolific ever as I recall though I'm sure someone could turn up the statistics for confirmation) but he was no stick insect and his record owed very little to subtlety from what I saw. He and Pressman must have been about the same size so, not surprisingly, Rowley was known for his thunderbolt shooting and from pretty well anywhere within sight of goal. It was all he was renowned for. Not his passing, no fancy tricks, just his single minded focus on scoring goals with boot or head, and, in the days of much heavier footballs, especially in wet weather, anyone who could belt em in from 35 yards like Rowley had power and to spare.
