This Vardy card with hunter on is monstrous. Alot of money but worth every penny. 6 goals in 2 games.

Started weekend league with 3 wins by a 3 goal margin or more, just lost 9 in a row that's me done with ultimate team for a few days. Can't deal with momentum shifts

He’s Icon level. Stamina’s poor though so he’s normally fooked by half time.

I laughed and now the same has happened to me. Won 8 in a row and now on a 5 losing streak. Can't score a goal. Very tedious.

I don’t mind losing, what pisses me off is when you can visibly see fast players have lost pace and can’t pass all of a sudden.

its funny how making a transfer normally shifts handicap when on a losing run, hence why new signings start off well

Icons REALLY wind me up. May aswell quit as soon as the match starts because the likes of Costa are unstoppable. Don't think I've ever beaten a team with one of the ****ers.

I doubt it.

 

I was excited about the Icons, but I realize that I won't ever have one. I mean I could sell my entire team that I've built to buy the lowest priced one eventually.

 

I get like 4 packs a week with my whatever Ronaldo edition and from squad battles, but I know I won't pack one 

 

Also, I don't like having several versions of each Icon. Maybe that's just me.

Had my 1st encounter with Futmas Musa last night!!! The guy just takes the kick off glitch to the next level, after I bagged my 1st 2 goals he just passed it out wide then spammed a through ball and he was clean through!!! Twice!! And there was nothing I could do about it, thankfully I managed to cut out his through balls after that and beat him 4.2 but jeeeez he’s a broken card

I find that unless it’s the top end icons ie Henry R9 Ronaldinho Maradona Pele etc etc they’re not to hard to play against... as soon as you come up against any of those elite 1s it’s near on impossible to stop them

Rui Costa is my arch nemesis. If you want to play with icons, you should only be matched with other icon players. How many times has my 80 squad played 86/87 teams this week. Just means the strong get stronger.

This has been the most pay to win FIFA there has ever been tbf, if you’ve put zero money in and your not a standard elite1/top 100 player the struggle will be real.... that being said I’ve been slapped by people just rolling out your usual prem meta team on more than 1 occasion and my team is pretty beastly

That's the annoying thing. I've probably spent more than ever on this FUT and I have had nobody worth more than 150k. My pack luck has been absolutely shit. In fact, out of the 1000s of packs I've opened over the years, the best player I've ever had was Robben.

I’m usually the same with pack luck but I can’t complain this year I put £50 in at the beginning and packed Baby Maldini, then I’ve packed Sif De Gea and Kante from squd battle rewards along with quite a few 100k players from fut champs

Danny rose can somehow out pace futmas vardy and musa and his 82 gk can save better than Neuer. 

Lost 8-3.

I played a game the other day just trying to qualify for the weekend league. I went 1-0 up. Ended up losing  10-1. The guy had about 14 shots on goal, it was ridiculous.  Nearly every time he hit the target the ball would end up in the back of the net. He must of been a pro.

 

Just consider yourself lucky because you can qualify for it

A gold finish qualifies you for the next week so I've not had to qualify for weeks luckily. This might be the first time i don't make gold.

Ahh fair enough but atleast you can reach Gold. I was a decent player last year. Would easily qualify for the weekend league and hit Gold 3 every time without fail. This year it's impossible for me to even qualify. I don't know what it is about the weekend league but my team just fails everytime. I've qualified once and lost four games on the bounce so I fvcked it off.
