She made her own bed. She was staunchly against Brexit in the lead up to the vote and turned like a ****ing screw when it went the other way. She has no principles and she was happy to change her rhetoric to benefit herself. I will not support someone like that. I hope she fails and goes down in history as the weak, unprincipled bellend that she is. She stood there and told a nurse that there isn't a money tree and then pissed money away to save her own arse by getting into bed with the DUP. Yeah, she's all about the good of the people, that one. 1

lifted*fox Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 You literally have to question what sort of person can actually feel some sort of connection or empathy towards some of these Tory personalities - come on, Boris, JRM, to a lesser extent TM. Totally unlikeable with backwards views, stupid over the top posh accents, buffoonery. There is nothing remotely relatable about them and they do not for one second have a single clue or idea about how to represent the normal people of this country, especially the young. They're so far removed from reality. Still, the only people on this forum that bum them off seem to be pretty old and out of touch guys anyway so maybe that's why. 2

Yeah, she's all about the good of the people, that one. Staunchly against? She vanished during the referendum campaign, maybe it was a political calculation but she certainly wasn't staunchly against it, you've either made that up or suffered some memory loss, I'd recommend All Out War by Tim Shipman for an insight on May and her workings. I've never even imagined hating a politician so much I'd be prepared to cheer my own country doing badly and becoming poorer just so I could criticise them, how bizarre. How can you vote Corbyn if you believe this? He changes his principles weekly all depending on what sort of crowd he's preaching to. 1 hour ago, toddybad said: Unless it was just ****wits voting for a bunch of policies that mean nothing compared to the economic misery they risk, of course. The irony of this is amazing for someone voting for John McDonnell to be the Chancellor. 3 minutes ago, lifted*fox said: You literally have to question what sort of person can actually feel some sort of connection or empathy towards some of these Tory personalities - come on, Boris, JRM, to a lesser extent TM. I think most people have left class war in the past now, I want the best person for the job, not bothered about what colour they are or how posh they sound. I've always found that strange. How old are you out of interest?

I dont believe anything can be done about housing until planning laws are revised. Therefore that is a policy idea (One that won't happen ofc). People give their opinion on the kind of Brexit they want but you dismiss that. Maybe if I said rent controls and nationalise housebuilding, you'd take note. Or if Matt put forward a proposal of giveaways to the middle classes and students. Or if Webbo told us how a hokey dokey Brexit is a great policy. Or Sampson told you all about how great big government is. The thing is, you implore people to come up with policies without any yourself. All you do is feed on what Corbyn and Owen Jones tell you. What makes you think any of us have time to come up with this stuff. It's pointless anyway cos the only retort will be the economic system is broken, followed by whatever random label for it you can think of and a conclusion of'redistribution is great'.

I do find it bizarre that if I criticised Angela Rayner for leaving school with no qualifications and being unable to speak English properly e.g saying 'What went' instead of 'that went', i'd be lamented for elitism and whatever else. I mean as if she has any idea about the average person either

David Davis and Michael Gove are "posh twats" despite one being brought up by a single mother on a council estate and the other was orphaned at birth and adopted yet grammar school Jeremy brought up in the 8 bedroom mansion who has never had to apply for a job in his life is a "man of the people" who knows all about the working class struggle. People see what they want I suppose.

I'm not actually as wedded to the left as you think but can't see any answers to.the problems I see in everyday life from the Tories. I voted tory in 2010. They need to show they have answers. Saying they'll build 25000 council houses is basically doing nothing. You claim to be the economics expert yet you don't seem to have any new ideas either, instead simply banging on about markets that have been tested to death over the last 40 years. Do any of your text books tell you what to do once markets stop bringing prosperity to the people?
lifted*fox Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 I've said previously that I voted Tory in the last election but now I realise they're all *****. If anything I'm probably more inclined towards a right-middle government but not anything like this ****ing mish-mash of unlikeable, unrelatable, bullshit-ridden, money grabbing, wheat trampling, fat floppy haired, pob looking mother****ers.
