I'd only just looked at the thread, noticed the 'Ballet' comment and was going to post and then saw someone had already commented. I'm not up to 24 hours a day on here yet. ONE letter out and I'm getting pelters ?
Robo61 Posted 22 June 2017 Posted 22 June 2017 If Ticket Office staff are obtaining season tickets for their mates, I very much doubt the Clubs Management would support such behaviour. So rather than protest why don't those with evidence simply inform Jim.

That is where one tier of seasonal corporate hospitality sits. Perhaps the person who bought those tickets chose to pay through the nose for hospitality season ticket. I would have loved too if I could afford it and actually be able to get to the stadium in time to eat the grub (impossible as I work Saturday morning in SE London). Paid £900 for two tickets

To save anyone else the trouble, it's a couple of blokes querying where missing tickets/season tickets go to, with Jim, and not getting very far. Then them arranging a meeting with Jim in late July/August to discuss the same, with the likely outcome being that they won't get very far.

And at a guess should the meeting happen they will get answers they accept as reasonable or will be back on twitter explaining the shit excuses they got. Like it or not we either accept it's tickets for the boys or someone at least questions some of the crap that goes on. I'm still pissed at the fact i missed out on the last day of the season at the shitty ground as my p1 status wemt missing but was corrected a week later. No explanation given. Wish i was on twitter then as it would have been public domian. Most businesses hate negative feedback in public.

Just looked at the guide as I thought it couldn't be £150 extra to sit in the next block to me as I'm in A1 but yet it's right £510 for an adult in A2 having now now looked at the prices Could it be 1 adult and 1 senior as that comes to £905

Where demand outstrips supply anywhere some 'friends or connections' of those with the power will always have the product or service supplied to them, before their rightful turn according to the official priority. So I don't think they will get an answer they are looking for. I'm not having a go at Jim here, it's a wonder he's not on sick leave after what he's had to deflect since success came to the club. I just don't think he can give real answers to this kind of question. Maybe sometimes he doesn't even know. He often says 'I will ask the question.' or 'I will pass on your concerns.' But we all know that with all the thousands of moans going through Jim and LCFC Help each year, not many of them result in answers or change. They just can't please everyone.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 22 June 2017 Posted 22 June 2017 The sad fact is where there's an event that involves ticketing, sporting or other, this has ALWAYS gone on! Friend of friend, just plain corruption or greed is more or less impossible to eradicate.

I'm a very happy season ticket holder thanks. Just put the info out there cos I thought it was news worthy

Yes but in this instance he has publicly stated he is happy to meet in person with individuals and discuss concerns and has asked that if any evidence can be provided he will take it on board. Whilst i accept they will not get the answers they want and screen shotting ft isn't really proof of anything. At least someone at the club is willing to listen. Isn't that a start. The club has never really been in this position before. Certainly not in my 28 years supporting i've always been able to get tickets even before i got my season tickets. In a way they are learning on the job. I guess if 2 tickete came up the temptation to call a mate and say if you can pay over the phone now they are yours would be there over reballoting them for most of us and from the outside that looks shit but wouldn't most do the same?

All fair points you make. Particularly about not being in this position before. It must be mayhem behind the scenes after what has happened in recent times. We all know that the team has strengthened since League 1/Championship days, but has/is the structure behind the scenes? I don't know much about that. Particularly, I'm talking about coping with fans/ticketing/phone system. I think there were just about 8-10 on hold before you got cut off on the phones, a year or so ago, meaning about 3 people answering. That was just crazy.
