Season tickets bought today

You've only got to look at the tiny % of golds on this forum who got through the ballot to deduce what there's all kinds of favours and backhanders going on behind the scenes.

Same when all the home champions league tickets magically disappeared, the Everton game when we lifted the trophy and others.

Its frustrating but it is what it is.

I was lucky enough to get through the ballet and get a season ticket in J3 and this still winds me up, heaven knows what the unlucky ones who missed out must think, it's enough to make your shit itch!!!!

Shame people wouldn't get behind a protest about this sort of thing.

I think most people will know of a situation like this, it's pretty rife at the club and will probably remain so. As Kitch says we'll have a moan but no one would get behind any actions against it so it carries on.

If there is any truth in this it is a disgrace. I said at the time that I smelt a rat, given the published numbers just didn't add up.

I absolutely would get behind a protest regarding ticketing issues-I feel very strongly about this sort of thing. I should note that I have made my feelings known to the club.

You see it at games all the time, where paying members are denied a ticket, yet there are folk that have got around the ticket buying process by knowing someone in the ticket office/high up at the club. I accept there will always be corporate tickets, and it is not these I have an issue with, it is the folk that seem to get tickets in normal home areas having been given a free ticket/bypassed the normal ticket buying route as a result of who they know. It would annoy me in any case, but it really annoys me now that we are charged £90 (£60 this year) for the privilege of being a member.

Hate to reopen the can of worms, but we just have to extend the stadium sooner rather than later. I'm a season ticket holder but feel very bad for people who cannot get their hands on yet are desperate to.

If this is true then it is a disgrace. I do know that there are some seasonal hospitality season tickets left because I was so distraught at missing out both last season and this that I made enquiries. This option tempted me because I wanted a season ticket so much, but as I work in London until 11am on Saturdays if I bought one I wouldn't even be able to have the meal (that you pay through the nose for) before the match. I asked if I could have a hospitality season ticket with out the food, e.g. Fosse Club (no catering) and they said they haven't had any of those for 4 seasons. If anyone might be able to go for hospitality (with food) you'll need to splash £2.25-2.5k before VAT.

I'm not willing to pay £2k now, that's why I didn't buy one.

As a Gold Member (in year 1 of that kind of membership) I actually had did have the chance to buy one after 'The Great Escape'. I think the option was guaranteed. Worst decision I ever made to not nab it when I had the chance. I assumed Gold Foxes would still have an option in year 2 when I renewed, but I didn't read the small print. In year 2 of Gold membership the wording changed from an 'option' on a season ticket to 'having a chance' of getting one.

Also I am a single bloke now. When I was offered that season ticket I had a girlfriend who not have been too happy about me disappearing up to Leicester every other Saturday (I live in London).

A safe season in top 10, an 3 months to crack on, an make the stadium 40,000 - 42,000 to ease these problems, will put us in line with Chelsea an Everton an move us onto the next level.

Get huge numbers on the job to get it done, an get the planning permission in place ASAP!!

This definitely calls for an open letter to the club

Hang on let's hold our horses. I just looked where A2 is on the stadium plan. That is where one tier of seasonal corporate hospitality sits. Perhaps the person who bought those tickets chose to pay through the nose for hospitality season ticket. I would have loved too if I could afford it and actually be able to get to the stadium in time to eat the grub (impossible as I work Saturday morning in SE London).

Haha. I'd only just looked at the thread, noticed the 'Ballet' comment and was going to post and then saw someone had already commented.

I'm not up to 24 hours a day on here yet. lol

I was joking. It definitely doesn't call for an open letter (remember the thread on here?)

I don't think a protest would achieve anything - besides we have no proof. It will be like this until the stadium is expanded.
