Superb final that, would have been happy with either to be fair, but it was great for those 2 to win it for the first time. Such a good game played in great spirits. Fitting ending to what has been an entertaining weekend overall

Littler needs to be eyeing up that Josh Rock 180 record next year :D

Brilliant final, played in a great spirit.........Could be the catalyst to get Rock flying up the rankings.Liked the sly dig from Gurney saying it was good that the losers hung around after!

i ****ing love darts. what a match that was played in such good spirits. im hooked now, thats it for me. darts for life

I am obviously considerably older than you, as I have been following darts since the early 80’s.  I have never seen so many world class dart players, as are currently on the circuit.  You have picked a good time to get into it!  I love football, but darts is something very special.

Woooooo! We don't win much in sport so this was nice. Rock was on fire.

Fair play to Wales for making it a great final, good sports at the end too.

The collective standard is so good now, it's hard to see anyone dominating everything.

The amount of darts academies and take up since Littler burst onto the scene is wild as well, the talent pool is just going to get better and better over the next decade.

Nah Gurney is a twerp

I never used to like Gurney but he has grown on me and actually think he can be quite funny( last night particularly). Price on the other hand likes to dish it out, with his ridiculous over celebrations, but doesn’t like it back.  Which is why he tends to get booed more than any other player.

They're both great. Anyone who gives it some on stage is aces in my book. Gezzy was actually gracious in defeat to Gurney in world cup final. Gurney is often a bad loser, was making fun (quite rightly) of Price all game then got pissed off by overzealous handshake at end. So he's guilty of your give it but can't take it remark. Also interesting that the crowd seemed quite pro Gezzy last night.

People have gone full circle on Price. They realise that the characters are disappearing and that he’s one of the only ones with anything about him these days. It was like unscripted WWE last night, you can’t help but love it

Haha that was box office stuff last night between Gezzy and Gurney lol Both equally fiery and mardy.

Was gutted for Ross Smith that he turned into a pub player for the first 5 legs. Seen it too many times on the euro tour though, he's either got a Magnet in that T20 or he can't hit anything. Due to the longer format we saw both versions of him lol

Rock's some player though, even on his best form all game that would have been a real struggle.

Picks for tonight

Van Veen - My outsider for the worlds this year

Anderson - Unbelievable in the Euro tour last weekend

Clayton - I can never back against the Ferret :D

Cannot split Wade and Nijman. Possibly home crowd advantage sees Wade take it.
