Why do most players do a little kick when collecting darts?

Probably because they are all using these points that really screw them selves in the boards now? Can't say i've noticed it.

Nice catch there. Once you see it you can't unsee it. They do it all the time when collecting back the darts. It's like a ritual.

I really like the doubles to start as a format. Why don't they use it in more tournaments? It leads to more interesting matches, more frustration and surprisingly intense legs.

Good to see that stand at the back filling up. The morningside arena has the potential to be a great darts venue.

Not a Darts Premier League venue next year.

I think the back is sold out the rest of the tournament though.

A few moans about the empty spaces in the stand but it's still a good crowd in front of it.

Much bigger than the citywest I reckon.

Is it right that the citiwest is being used to house people and that's why the PDC can't use it?Can see the Grand Prix going back there and Leicester getting the Grand Slam at some point.

Yeah city west took in a lot of Ukrainians that meant the darts was out of bounds and it's still the same situation as far as I can tell.

Don't think Dublin was ever the right venue anyway. Has a bigger population but the crowds for the early rounds were the weakest of all the majors by a distance I would say.

Nice to have an event over here but it will go the ways of Goffs in the snooker. Other than the matchplay the PDC has outgrown all other venues and is probably happier to be out of Dublin.

De Decker is going to take some stopping if he carry this on!

Another surprise with Joyce beating Cross.

Way it's going could be anyone winning.

Been very unpredictable.

Be interesting to see if Humphries makes it through or if the favourites keep on getting beat.

In the city of the underdogs after all 😉
