Official ticket exchange

I am sure I read somewhere that the club were going to create a ticket exchange for face value sales that would also allow season ticket holders to sell games that they couldn't attend. Not seen anything mentioned, does anyone know if it's happening?

Yes should be up and running in May.

 

 

 

But then I did see it once on that thing lcfc call their web-site, but it was greyed out, just had a look and can't find it.

If you're a season ticket holder you can click an option on account page saying you can't make a match

The only thing with account in it is, account management and linked accounts, can't find my account.

I suspect they will only publicise it once they have a sold out fixture. Don't want to let people know there's no need to spend £60 now do they?

But I assume the season ticket seats that are given up will be sold at face value so what's the difference?

Because the club want non season ticket holders to buy memberships. 

With a ticket exchange, it lessens the need for a membership.

Presume only members will be allowed to buy tickets on the ticket exchange? 

 

If the ticket exchange is opened to all and sundry to buy tickets, agreed, no need to buy a membership.

Yeah I would have thought the exchange would be for members first anyway

The option was definitely there to sell my season ticket for Brighton, didn't click through to see what the interface was like however. Pretty sure it was in the "Personal Details" - "Welcome" - "Next Game" section of the website, with a checkbox option to sell the ticket.

 

Not there currently for Chelsea however. Hopefully it re-appears as none of us (4) can go to Chelsea as on holiday, so perfect for using this system, should it indeed exist!

I tried it for the Brighton game. The interface was terrible, the options made no sense and didn't work properly.

 

Then it disappeared.

 

I need to sell my ticket for Liverpool so hopefully it's up again before then.

Is this back up and running plus how does it work? Are you reimbursed for the match if you can't make it? I can't get to the Chelsea match.
