Just had an email form the club and I sit in G1 - looks like it'll affect G1?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SEASON TICKET AND SAFE STANDING

Dear Foxes fan,

We have some news coming about Season Tickets for the 2025/26 season for our Men’s First Team, which we'll shortly be announcing publicly. As your seat is located within one of the areas affected by upcoming changes, we wanted to take the chance to let you know about them in advance.

Following extensive consultation with our supporters over the course of the last year, we are pleased to now confirm that safe standing will be introduced at King Power Stadium. This development is one that will enhance safety and improve your matchday atmosphere and experience.

We’re writing to you first as your current Season Ticket seat is located within an area that has been designated for safe standing from next season. Further insights into the consultation process will be shared alongside our main announcement later today, but as an existing Season Ticket Holder in the new safe standing area, you have the following options if you’d like to renew your Season Ticket for next season:

1. Renew and Remain in Your Current Seat:

If you’re happy to stay in your current seat when it becomes a safe standing seat, you can simply renew your Season Ticket as usual between 18 March – 9 April.

2. Renew and Relocate into an area that isn’t a safe standing area:

If you'd prefer to move to a different area of the stadium, which isn’t safe standing, due to this change, you should renew your season ticket between 18 March and 9 April. You’ll then have access to an exclusive relocation period, which will run from 11 – 17 April and give you priority access to available seats in the rest of the stadium.

What is safe standing?

Safe standing at King Power Stadium will involve the installation of rails in front of seats in selected areas of the stadium, allowing supporters to stand safely during matches. Each rail creates a safety barrier for supporters in the seats directly behind them, preventing progressive crowd collapse in those areas and ensuring supporters have space to stand comfortably and safely without affecting sightlines for others in the stadium. This system enhances the matchday experience by creating designated standing areas designed specifically for supporter enjoyment.

Our safe standing solution

We’ve chosen the independent barrier solution in blue, which is a rail that will be inserted in front of your seats. This was selected as it allows us to retain the existing seats, making it more efficient, and it satisfies the required regulatory criteria. To give you a better idea of what to expect, here’s an example of what it will look like:

For further details, please visit our Safe Standing FAQs. Should you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

If you’re interested in learning more about safe standing at King Power Stadium or have any questions, please register for our Your 90 Minutes session, which will take place online on Monday 17 March at 6pm. Please click HERE to apply, no later than 10am on Monday 17 March and we’ll send you a link to join.

You’ll receive another email shortly, following our public announcement, with full details about Season Ticket renewals and the safe standing areas.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Yep it has, just got the email.

Seems like prices will be out very soon, the email continues to say renewals start from 18th March.

Prices have been frozen for another year.

Can someone post the exact areas that safe standing will be implemented in? (If it’s publicised yet, or anyone has any educated guesses)

Ive got a few messages from different LCFC fans that have said different things…

edit- I’ve just seen the post 2 above this one

Why is the safe standing only at the back of those sections

Hello coach 1? lol That’s why. They want as little as people relocating as possible, little complaints as possible and the majority of sections that will have it, stand anyway. This way they can also say that they’ve caved into demand.

Either they're covering massive portions of the stadium, or basically just installing it in every area where people are already standing lol

Safe standing rails will be placed in the following areas. Home:

  • SK1 (from V26) + G1 (to V29) – to bottom of vomitory (M to PP – 27 rows)
  • P and P1 – to back of vomitory (T to PP – 21 rows)
  • L and K1 – to back of vomitory (T to PP – 21 rows)
  • SK1 (from v26) + SK4 (start of control room) – back two rows (NN to PP – 2 rows)

Away:

  • M1 to M4 – to back of vomitories (T to PP – 21 rows)

I just hope it doesn't mean they're going to be strict with the front of the current signing section.

True, they've done half the stand there. Probably the only area where it makes a huge difference

The back 2 rows seems silly given easily the back 4/5 all stand consistently

That is awful how they’re doing this. Done the bare minimum for safe standing to not upset people! A whole Kop safe standing was the way to do it and they’ve failed miserably! God sake look around the grounds, pretty much every ground behind the goal/s is all standing whether it be safe standing or not 💀 we must have the most sitters at home in the country, terrible!!

That graphic makes the amount of rails in P block look a lot, it aint that much there.

UFS got a message in the week that a fan at West Ham was told by one of the clubs stewards there that extra ticketing checks are coming for them on Sunday.

If I renew I'll have to move as the rail comes down to a single row in front of me.

We don't have anywhere near enough people who want to stand to make the Kop safe standing,

Regardless it's absolutely shit, as expected.

This was my first thought. Resistance needed to sitting.  Theyve done half a job
