Safe standing - time to act

Surely as other posters have said. Why don’t they make a whole section safe standing instead of in various areas.

Interesting to read posts by southampton fans unhappy with the large safe standing they have now and how its actually diluted the atmosphere after moving the away fans, some say its killed any atmosphere.

Their atmosphere could’ve been killed by introducing safe standing…

Won’t be installed until post the Women’s international supposedly. Can’t remember exact number but some matchday sales being left for safe standing too

Thank you for sharing at the last Southampton away it was very obvious this was the case and in conversations with their fans they were not happy. If you watch games large areas of their safe standing are permanently seated. Safe standing does not create atmosphere passion and commitment on the pitch do. This season at Leicester you could have had a full standing ground and there would be silence with this squad.

Unfortunatley that does seem the case.  There have been the odd exception.  But i think most fans that go to english gtrounds don't care about atmosphere.  Nothing wrong with that of course, it does seperate us from the rest of the world though lol.

Just seems a cheap cop out, reduces space too.  A much better option is what they have everywhere else.  Off the top of my head only Shrewsbury and QPR in england have this.

So it's the flat seats more like in the Bundesliga you're after, rather than the ones like at Anfield or Old Trafford?

Yep. Flogging a dead horse by trying to force an area with atmosphere at the opposite end to the away fans. That’s why it’s a relief they installed safe standing at our place in L, K and P

Safe standing is all fitted I was at stadium yesterday I was indeed standing next to all areas through the day
