Quiz questions needed.

I've been asked to compile 10 sports and games questions as a round in a quiz my father in law is doing in October. I've got an idea for some but a few suggestions would be welcome. They don't all have to be Mastermind standard, I'm looking for a mix of abilities type questions.

Name three England Captains who have played for Scunthorpe United.

I sort of need the answers too.

I think Keegan played for Scunthorpe. Did Ray Clemence?

I thought I'd give you chance to answer first too.

You got two, the others Ian Botham.

Old football grounds is a good one - who played at Leeds Road, Burnden Park or The Old Showground as examples?

I did one once where the "tough" question was (and bear with me - it is a long one)

In 1993 (I think), Leeds and Stuttgart played a two legged Champions League tie which Stuttgart won on away goals. However, they fielded an ineligible player so UEFA ordered a one off replay to decide the tie.

Q1 - where was this tie played?

Q2 - who scored the winning goal?

(I wouldn't recommend asking this question - as it's very niche!)

Only have football ones unfortunately, here is an easier one.

What was significant about the world cup qualifier between Estonia and Scotland on the 9th October 1996?

Leeds Road, was that Huddersfield? I think Burden Park was Bolton.

I could do with some non football questions as well.

Yep, the Scots kicked off on an empty pitch and the ref abandoned the game after 3 seconds.

good effort. The Old Showground is tougher. The team that played there were the first club to build a new stadium in almost a hundred years when they moved there in the late 1980's

Scunthorpe? I think they were the first new stadium in 100 years.
