ScouseFox Posted 12 October 2017 Posted 12 October 2017 vardy is obviously street smart. witty, probably knows all the best places to get a cheap drink, probably always had his escape route planned if the police came knocking. the kind of smart the every day man needs to be. sure he probably doesn’t know ohms law but who gives a shit nobody needs to know that. ohm didn’t even really care.

Would talk a damn sight more sense than divs like Jermain Jenas or Paul Merson. Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but how can Kasper be a pundit? He doesn't talk about football off the pitch. Not even with his European Cup winning Dad. Never. Football is not discussed.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 13 October 2017 Posted 13 October 2017 Fuchs by a distance. Writes beautifully, talks insightfully, intelligent on the pitch and witty and eloquent off it. #totallad
dylanlegend Posted 13 October 2017 Posted 13 October 2017 It's Dragovic: ".... Dragovic, whilst playing his trade in his native Austria studied and achieved bachelor honours in Physics and Engineering, as well as becoming increasingly involved in a start up aeronautical business. While playing for FC Basel he took part in a Swiss TV show testing celebrity IQ levels, with Dragovic winning the show confirming an IQ level of 134 and just to make you aware I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about."

Depends how you define intelligence. I work alongside plenty of knowledgeable people but very few on have the ability to think 'on their feet'. People's actions can be reactive rather than immediate. Punditry is good example of that. Lots of people can use video clips to describe how a player does well. The discussion about Vardy's penalties on MOTD showed real intelligence after the Liverpool game. It described what he did wrong and what he can do better.
RoboFox Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 Not Jamie Vardy if this post on Sky Sports is to be believed...
