Saturday wasn't a good example but Ndidi is virtually twice the player when he plays with Iborra because he can just give the ball to him and let him do the creativity. With James it was almost making Ndidi become our playmaker.....he has many qualities, but that isn't one of them.

How is he twice the player? Seems the same player to me, just with less responsibility.

As for your opinion, you make some good points but seem prone to hyperbole "Twice the player"?

 

Does it let him concentrate on his best assets, yeah.  Does it mean his passing stats go up because he can play it simple rather than trying to push things, yeah. "Twice the player", come on.

For me it's Ndidi and one other, we have tried James, for me his not attacking enough.i.

 

Hopefully we can see Silva for two game, and see more of what his got,maybe hes the answer, but until we do I think Iborra is the best option alongside Ndidi.

You've fallen into the same trap I fall into - taking a phrase like that too literally.

 

I take his point - Wilfred plays his role better and seems happier with Vicente there.

It's as if some people are afraid their words won't be noticed unless they're completely overblown.

I'm completely prone to hyperbole - but I think @HighPeakFox sums up my point well - twice the player OTT? probably yes.

 

I was trying to make out that I think Iborra brings out the best in Ndidi and as he's one of our best players, that's a good thing.
