Is this an app Babs? If so what is it called?

Yeah, it's 'stats zone', you have to pay for a subscription yearly. You can pay just for your club stats for for everyone's stats. Was only a tenner for everything.

Its the same stuff that was on 442 last year before they dropped it.

From admittedly, only radio commentary,  apart from his excellent goal yesterday, Iborra appeared to  persistently give the ball away. Matt Piper commented that he felt it was his worst game in a Leicester shirt at one stage. It is all very subjective as different people notice or value different things. Sometimes though there seems to be a 'love in' with certain players like Iborra whereas others like Simpson always appear to be forever criticised?

From my standpoint the jury is still out. One moment Iborra can look like a calm leader ordering his players and then the next,  persistently give the ball away cheaply himself. Barking orders out looks good for the crowd but are utter bollocks if what he's shouting is pointless. He never seems that industrious but sometimes good players read the game better than others and don't need to. Those ground coverage stat things to me are subjective as well ie you can sprint into all those positions and have an effect on a game or stroll around pointlessly, either way, the map will show you've been there.

Good points and he’s not always that good. Saturday being a prime example. However, with him and Ndidi starting we pick up points! So maybe it’s more luck than judgement but he’s effective.

Overall he’s been a solid signing.

If you want a complete player you would have to pay £100m+.

Be realistic.

Kante £5.6m?

BTW I realise that it is very difficult to unearth that kind of gem.

Not his worst, not by a long stretch (his first outing had me wondering if we'd signed their car park attendant!) but it certainly wasn't his best game for us. He made a number of piss poor passes.

I can see the criticisms people have of him; particularly his square passing and lack of pace, but I personally think he makes up for that with other aspects of his play. I've a feeling he's a solid professional and will do the role asked of him, without fuss and confidently.

I’m with @HighPeakFox fox here.

For me, Iborra calms everyone down and starts us going forward again. He doesn’t have to be quick, that’s not his game. I think he’s head and shoulders over James as a class footballer.

Which half of Gareth Williams was decent because it wasn’t the half that kicked a football.

Every time I saw him he was alright. Nothing amazing...

That was some header. Even when it bounced the ball lost no pace at all, and the goalie was a spectator.

It looked like Iborra had been tasked (or encouraged) to find that killer forward ball, but struggled to find it. I think he isn't that mobile, which in a 2 is not a great thing, but I like his ability to shield and hold the ball with his strength. I also like the effect he has on us at set pieces, at both ends.

Id love to see a 3 of Ndidi, Iborra and Silva but fear that would only work consistently with a complete striker up front in the mold of a Drogba or Lewandowski. Someone who offers everything and occupies both cb's while also making runs into the channels. Vardy is brilliant but not what you'd look for if you wanted to play with one striker consistently.

Having said that id still try it but with Diabate starting in a 3 with Mahrez and Vardy.

Didn't have a good game by any means, but adds a massive threat from set pieces and crosses in general, just need to get him in the box lots more, hope we see him at no.10 at some point, could see him sending Vardy through on goal.

And to add to that the Express have 3 LCFC players in their team of the week, along with Iborra & Ben they have also included Kasper.

I wonder where all the Foxes Forum "Kasper & Chilwell haters" are this week as they've gone very quiet.....again?!?

Anyone watching the game could tell you it was a pretty average performance from him. As per previous posts, scores are warped by goals and are nowhere near an indicator of how someone actually played.

Maybe, but an average performance is good enough, for me he add a little bit of a presence to our midfield. The way we play we shift the ball from side to side, before having too cross it because we can't play a killer pass through the middle, he's present an extra goal threat due to his size and is willingness to get in the box.

For me it's Ndidi and one other, we have tried James, for me his not attacking enough.i.

Hopefully we can see Silva for two game, and see more of what his got, maybe hes the answer, but until we do I think Iborra is the best option alongside Ndidi.

An average performance and a goal or a top performance and no goal.. hmm, i know which one i'd choose every time.

I could say this about every post you make, you're happy to use the stats when they support, but call them bullshit if they dont. Make your mind up mate....

When I've used them I've stated they are bullshit... but I will get great satisfaction in throwing them in peoples faces who insist they actually mean something, when they prove them WRONG.

Very tempted to go through every post you've sent to me that includes a stat and quote reply 'bullshit', but I'd never do that.....

Odds of Chilwell up at 8.3, Iborra 8.1 and Kasper 7.8 when our match ratings are toted up?

5001-1

Whoscored ratings aren't stats, It's a make believe scoring system.

I try to be consistent with my views on their rating system and mention it whenever I remember to.

I agree 100% and that in no way is a knock on James for me.

Iborra is a Rolls Royce.

Glides round the pitch at a steady pace, hes not fast, not flamboyant but you can just tell he he oozes quality.

Passing and link up from this man is a joy to watch. Always knows his next decision before the ball arrives even if it doesnt always come off.

Got a good feeling he's going to be even better with a good preseason under his belt.

Very calm and confident on the ball. Occasionally gets caught with the ball, but i think thats due to his experience in la liga, where you get alot more time and space. Head and shoulders above matty james, and slots in well with Ndidi.
