6s for the subs

7s for Simpson, Morgan, Fuchs, Wilf and Chillwell

8s for Kasper (great save at 3-1 - stopped us surrendering the game), Maguire (+1 for the assist), King (him and Wilf dominated the midfield; +1 for the goal) and Vardy (typical selfless Vardy performance; +1 for the assist)

9 for Mahrez - he's in amazing form & back to his best. I hope he scored a whopper every week just to fill up the goal of the month comp)

10 for Shinji. His best game for us? 2 goals and an assist, never stopped running or trying. Embodies what we're about just as much as Vardy. He was simply perfect tonight.

Gave Claude a 9 for his rotation and selection. Not sold on Chillwell in that position yet but Claude sees a future for him and I trust his judgement already, especially with this difficult run coming up.

Southampton were utterly shocking.

Ref should have perhaps sent off Austin but otherwise not many complaints.

Harry Maguire chesting the ball down, turning his man, and putting an incisive ball across goal for a King tap in. When did Maguire turn into peak Steve Howard circa 2009? lol

Love the man.

Claude Puel 9  - What can I say. Thanks for sacking him, Southampton lol No, you can't have him back
Kasper Schmeichel 8 -  Prevented their 2nd goal with an instinctive save after they pulled one back. Started a dangerous counter with a perfect long kick in the second half. Brilliant.

Danny Simpson 7 - I'm loving this new, adventurous, no-hoofing Danny Simpson. Looking forward to him scoring a goal, hopefully sometime soon

Wes Morgan 8 - Captain Awesome. A rock

Harry Maguire 8 - He's defending, dribbling, shooting, assisting... What a lad, what a signing.

Christian Fuchs    7 - Maybe I'm being generous but can't bring myself to giving Fuchsy any less he's still a bit rusty after spending time on the bench but he worked with Chills very well, overlapping and all. It was nice to see him again in the team

Ben Chilwell 7 - very good game, cooperated with Fuchs perfectly, good times for him

Wilfred Ndidi 8    - Finally his shots are on target :D Even when he lost the ball, he won it back, which reminded me of certain little brat who fuched off to Chelsea... As mentioned in the match thread, we should put a 100 mil release clause on the golden boy so it won't happen again.

Andy King  7 - Return of Andy K. was met with some... scepticism, to say the least. I certainly wasn't overjoyed to see him in the starting line up. It seems Puel has a kind of Midas touch even when it comes to King though. Old habits die hard, he was still passing sideways and backwards, but he hardly put a foot wrong. This game gives me hope, maybe he can still learn and develop? Nice tap in for the Invisible Man, btw!

Jamie Vardy 7 - tireless, had an assist, a pity he didn't bag one but still essential as ever. Makes it even better when the opposition fans throw fits over him

Riyad Mahrez 9 - Spectacular. Started the whole show and didn't put the foot off the gas. No more of that sulking, self-pitying  player we had been watching for so many months. He's blooming again under Puel back to his 'Mahrez the magician' best, seems to be rediscovering his joy of football. Hope he stays until summer... at least!

Shinji Okazaki 10 - MOTM. Tour de force from the sensei. 2 goals (one goal line intervention from a hattrick) and assist. He was everywhere. Won so many fouls. Took the ball from their players like a takeaway sushi. Great link up play as always. Ran himself to the ground for full 90 minutes wearing 9 stitches and smiling. Simply legend... And all that for nothing because people will still keep saying "he can't play football" lol

Have you been voting wrong this whole time? Is this why we never get to 100% :D

Obviously joking.

Surely puel approval rating has to be 100% with 4 on the bounce.

Wasn’t over excited about his appointment, but he’s got us organised and playing football.

Think he’s doing wonders, getting mahrez back in form, and getting the best out of limited players, the only player affected is vardy’s goal record, he’s still working hard, but is very isolated at times, but I’m sure as we settle into the style he will get his goals.

Perhaps the players aren't actually limited but actually have been limited by what's been previously asked of or expected from them. And Puel has realised that. Quite a difference. I think he has liberated them.
