We don't create enough chance for him, be get the odd one per game, hence his high conversation rate.

Stick him Liverpool or Arsenal sideband he would be get around 25-30 goals.

The most improved player over the last four your by mile, has a better touch, passing range and game awareness.

If he gets injured we would be fighting for are lives at the bottom of the table.......

Just because he's 30 years old (soon 31) and missing some goals doesn't mean he's on a decline.

I think he's holding up exceptionally well and is actually getting better. He's become more clever, more team-oriented over the years. It's not all about goals, it's what a player brings to the team. He does assist where possible, his positioning has improved, he's still a nightmare for opposing defenders to keep up with and possesses a very good basic acceleration.

The only thing that I would hold against him or rather our style of play is that he's too reliant on Mahrez having a good day, who feeds him most through-balls. This diminishes the amount of chances we can create up front.

Once we have Adrien Silva finally on board and Iborra playing more often again, I think we'll see more goals from Vardy, as he'll have more options to choose from, making our forward play more unpredictable once more, just like with Drinkwater and Kanté in the middle.

tell that to man city in extra time.

are they less impressive? yes! but are they still goals?

That was kind of my point.... you cant  judge a striker on goals and exclude some of his goals.

Not by a long way but this current style of play is not getting the best out of him but it is a trade off in bringing other players more into the game with our current midfield.

We've had to sacrifice Shinji too as he more often warms the bench to accommodate Mahrez, Gray and Albrighton.

he is struggling because the team isn't built around him anymore and i can't blame puel, i would also build the team around my best player. you can't build the team around a striker unless he has great link-up play (a la jesus or griezmann)

too bad we didn't get puel in the summer, we would've been in a lot better situation right now

only problem is losing mahrez, you can't let him go, not with the form he is in.

it would be so leicester city to bring an overlapping RB just after selling mahrez lol

IDK why people seem determined to see this as an attack. The guy is my favorite player. I am not trying to talk bad on the guy, just looking at the numbers and I'm interested how people see them.

Sums this forum up..........
