I think its easier to applaud a great goal if you're going to lose the match anyway.  Takes a certain amount of class (maybe that's not the right word) to applaud a great goal in a huge tightly contested match....I don't think I could do it.

I personally haven’t and wouldn’t coz im a bitter bastard but I’m sure a tonne of our fans applauded a Wednesday player’s goal the year we got relegated to league 1

A yeah I was there at that game, didn't clap that one.

Could of been Chris Brunt but I think all three of theirs were utter Barahmas.

I don't know why but we conceded a shit load of wonder goals back then, probably because Conrad was in goal and a shoot on sight approach was adopted by all opposing teams.

Unless you've been living under a rock recently, its been plastered all over the news that Ronaldo's goal against Juventus was so good that it had Juve fans on their feet applauding.

Has there ever been a goal scored against Leicester that you just had to show your appreciation for?

The only one i can recall applauding was Di Maria's goal in the 5-3 win against Man U.

Matt Taylor’s curler against us for Portsmouth in the Championship. Sat in the corner from behind the strike, I had a great view.

I started to politely applaud a cracking Zola goal when we played Chelsea at Filbert Street back in the 90s, but the goal was the signal for all hell to break out as there were Chelsea fans all around the ground, so I quickly stopped.

This will sound so sad, but the main thing I noticed in that video was our old scoreboards which I'd completely forgotten about. The useless things didn't work half the time, I swear the one on top of the Kop was out for about two seasons lol.

I saw one video of it with Don Goodman as co-commentator trying to say it’s going to compete with Grealish’s Villa goal, the previous night for goal of the month. The Neves one is hands down goal of the season, for me.
