He's neither the tallest nor the strongest on a football pitch, so it's only logical that he tends to suffer more upon impact and that he could potentially become an easy target for opposing defenses.

He'll have to work around it, but my guess is he's got enough experience with that from his days in the Championship, he'll be fine.

Did Maddison look as though he was going over a bit too easily last night?  Was only watching online, but one incident in particular in their box looked very like a dive.

Our new best players is a diving shit. Abuse him and bin him off NOW.

I agree. And I wonder whether footballers these days are actually encouraged, coached and trained to do this.

Playing against the German army and they were at it all game, asked them about it after when we were having a beer and they said they get taught how to fall and win free kicks as soon as the start playing. Some before they were really taught to play.

Diving is par for the course and I've just about learnt to accept it. As long as it's not Zaha/Neymar level diving theatrics I can accept players of any club "going down easy" so to speak.

I find that really sad tbh. Shame the games come to this imo

Don't mind as long as he does it in dangerous areas and not just anywhere on the pitch like Shinji

To be fair sometimes its useful to win a frekick in your own corner quadrant
