N'Didi was about the worst player on the pitch.

How on Earth does Wes get a lower rating than N’Didi. His performance was virtually faultless while Wilf gave the ball away for fun, once leading to the goal we conceded.

Didn't you realise Wes is crap/past it/Puel's blue eyed boy/selects the team.

Honestly it pisses me off so much. Talk about rating favourite players regardless of their performance.

I know it wasn’t great, or I’m not thinking, but best team performance out of 3, but worst managers performance out of 3.

Are we saying they played better and ignored puels tactics, line up and coaching.

Or is it because a lot don’t like puel and mark him low no matter what.

Genuine thought, shouldn’t both match, if the team had the best performance, surely the manager who put them out did.

Before I get slated, I know it’s more involved than that, but seems a bit harsh in puel, and I’m not his biggest fan at present.

I think Puel was marked down due to the odd substitutions

Like I say not as simple as appears, his subs are very questionable at times

I didn't give Puel a great rating because I thought we set up quite badly in the first half, the subs were baffling, we didn't properly press for the winner at 1-1 and only got it due to a bit of magic from a very unlikely source. I think Puel on Saturday got quite lucky. Don't take that as me being strongly anti-Puel as I'm not. I can see the merit of what he's trying to do. I just think fortune favoured him.

I thought we were very poor in the first half, we need to start games playing attacking football, if we play like that against Liverpool in the first half we will get punished

Puels substitutions were fine.

Albrighton came on and is better on the left anyway allowing Gray to go upfront and use his pace vs their slow CBs.

Ghezzal came on for Maddison to add some extra legs and quality (he played well almost set up Gray).

Okazaki was brought on as the game looked like it was becoming meh and he was seen as someone who’d press them and get us going / winning the ball higher up the pitch.
