Max Wall Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Are you confident she'll let them stay up in the dining room? Tea time talking point, was that what you were going for?

See you soon in the divorce thread, mate! My tardiness in providing a new fitted kitchen was cited against me, so your wife's solicitors should be able to make mayhem with this.

If so, I'm glad I've never had to go through a divorce, the ammo available for her would be never ending.

Buce Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 I’m sure there must be simpler ways to write a suicide note.

Admittedly, the context was that we both wanted a divorce, one of us had to cite "unreasonable behaviour" against the other as we weren't separated and neither had been unfaithful. Being a gentleman, I suggested that she accused me of being unreasonable, not vice-versa. It did amuse me when she cited that one, though. I'd offered to fund necessary repairs to the kitchen floor and the necessary replacement of 2 cupboards, was £10k in debt and had no easy source of cash for a full refit.....which was to be carried out by her brother-in-law to help her sister's finances. With hindsight, I should have used my remaining cash to get some LCFC shirts framed and mounted on the wall - maximum wind-up potential!
koop. Posted 25 November 2018 Author Posted 25 November 2018 24hrs and they're still up on the wall She can't bring herself to say she likes them but I can tell she secretly likes them. Winning

Winning What's that saying again? 'None so blind as those who will not see' In all seriousness, I didn't think they'd last the night once she returned so you're definitely winning.
lifted*fox Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 at least she knows that a spirit level will be a useful stocking filler this year.
