Walshy5 Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 I still think he's got something about him unlike Ghazzal so a loan move would suit both parties.
sphericalfox Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Missing a bit of maturity. Tries to dazzle his way through an opponent or defence, when he should keep it simple. A loan where he will get significant game time with a team that will actually develop him would be ideal. Should have gone out in the summer really.
STUHILL Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 I'd like him to stay in english football and no better place than the Championship for him. Bring Barnes back from WBA and send Diabate there if they want him. I was in favour of keeping Barnes there, but I really think he could start a lot of games for us on the left side of a front 3.

TMELcfc Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 He needs to learn when to be flash, and when not to be... unfortunately this is similar for Gray and Maddison at the moment. I think there is a player in there, we saw it in his early months, he can get you off your seat which is something I feel we are missing at the moment. But he just isn't ready for Premier League yet. Championship loan move to WBA/Villa etc. I think would do him good
coolhandfox Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Send him on loan, if he does well he can either comeback or their is a chance we can sell for a profit.
vanity Posted 2 January 2019 Posted 2 January 2019 Sad thing is he has what we need -- terrific ball control, great 1-on-1 ability, strong with 1-2s/give and goes, etc. He has the skill to penetrate a well-defended box and reach dangerous parts of the pitch against Prem clubs, sort of like Everton's Bernard did to us yesterday when there was nobody on the end of his pass after he left Chilwell in a demoralized heap. The only other players we have who can do that are probably the inconsistent Gray and the low football-IQ Ghezzal. Maybe Maddison, though Idk re his ability to beat his man 1-on-1. That said, he needs to round out his game and learn to be consistent. Regular time on a Championship team that plays a similar 4231 style is just what he needs. Def prefer a loan to a sale, we may have something here.
