Could be an optical illusion though. No illusion, think the Unicorn is still slightly bigger but a couple of years back the difference in trebles/doubles and bull area on the Unicorn were absolutely ridiculous and they were made to make changes, including how it was wired as even that was made in a way to accept the darts easier with how it was placed and shaped. Not in doubt that the PDC is higher quality, obvious really given that its full time but an absolute joke that they have to play on a kids board that is absolutely shredded to bits aftet anything more than 10 legs of use.

As a PDC man ididn't realise that! There is a complete guide for how big the segments(Doubles,Treble's etc)should be in the BDO rules, but quite sketchy in the PDC.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Scotty Waites' finishing in that match. Good job the other guy was bobbins.
kingfox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 Smith-Neale playing with a crutch and a broken leg. Will be some story if he wins the tournament
EastAnglianFox Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 90 odd average for Sherrock earlier, looked very very good, got to fancy her with Ashton and Hedman gone.
The Bear Posted 6 January 2019 Posted 6 January 2019 This had me in bits! Tony Fleet v Martin Adams at the end really is something to behold!
EastAnglianFox Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 I remember the Fleet v Adams match like it was yesterday Possibly the only time in Lakeside history that a player on stage has been more pissed up than Wolfie
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 7 January 2019 Posted 7 January 2019 Andy Hamilton got beat 3-0 earlier today by a bloke called David Cameron.
kingfox Posted 9 January 2019 Posted 9 January 2019 Overrated McGeeney just been smashed by Chav Whitehead.
kingfox Posted 10 January 2019 Posted 10 January 2019 Baker from 3-0 down has just taken out a 140 to level at 3-3. BDO > PDC
Blue ROI Posted 10 January 2019 Posted 10 January 2019 Some drama. Baker threw some absolute rot and then some mesmerising darts in no time. Duzza was lucky to get through that.
Blue ROI Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Most enjoyable day of darts. Quarter finals went as expected. Semi final line up confirmed. Unterbuchner v Waites Durrant v Williams
everton carr Posted 12 January 2019 Author Posted 12 January 2019 Should be 2 close matches hoping for a Duzza v Waites final
The Bear Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Suzuki was a great watch earlier. Averaged over 90 and blitzed Winstanley 3-0. Hoping for an Unterbuchner v Durrant final in the mens.

everton carr Posted 13 January 2019 Author Posted 13 January 2019 Great final with Durrant a deserved winner. Next year could be wide open with Durrant Waites and Willams joining the PDC
The Bear Posted 13 January 2019 Posted 13 January 2019 Women only take home £12k for the winner. Quite the difference.

everton carr Posted 17 January 2019 Author Posted 17 January 2019 First day of QSchool early exits for both Durrant and Waites McGeeney though to last 8 good win for Lorraine Winstanley against John Part earlier today
The Bear Posted 18 January 2019 Posted 18 January 2019 How does Q School work then? I've never read much about it.

To join the PDC you need to have a tour card so around 400 players are battling it out for tour cards so they can join the PDC it lasts 4 days the 2 unbeaten players in each day get tour cards plus there are 10 other cards available for the 10 players who managed to get the most points over the 4 days
