foxes21 Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 No wonder we have slow starts, we lack players who play with any intensity apart from Vardy, Albrighton, Choudhury, Ndidi and the full-backs. Need to play with intensity on and off the ball and we are lacking in that department. It’s a personnel issue and will need to be addressed in the summer.
BluethroughtheMiddle Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Give the new manager a chance, his influence may well change that.
urban.spaceman Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Well it would help if officials were able to spot an offside from a ****ing mile off.
David Guiza Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 If we just played the middle 75 and cut out the beginning and end of matches we might be on to something.

Can’t imagine any manager sending the team out with instructions to play like cvnts until the opposition score. I think BR will address this fairly rapidly. Hope so any way.
Chester Dontlie Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 intensiteee.... this word is becoming our nemesis! all true though we are so slow our games like todays could be prescripted instead of tranquilisers
Kitchandro Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Ndidi? He’s one of the worst culprits. people need to stop jumping to the transfer market conclusion. You can’t just have a squad overhaul every season. It is not the players. Yes a lot of them are thick, that’s what footballers are like. They need to be properly managed, specifically trained to do certain things. A good manager will do that, we’ve just got to hope Rodgers is the man to do that.
dfs Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Just now, Babylon said: It's the low tempo training...... oh. Today proves that the slow starts haven't been Puel's fault as the new man has had a full four days to work with the players ?
car1os Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 The first goal was marginally offside, but does not excuse Watford having 2 clear opportunities to score in the first 5 mins. It’ll take a while for Rodgers to undo what Puel has installed in the team. Also, it was the first game with a new system

All we heard was that it was all about low tempo training and a boring manager who couldn't fire us up. The players need to grow up, we are so naive it's unbelievable.
