Title says it all really just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a place to get a tat done in Leicester?

same advice I always give - find an artist and design (their flash) or someone who you think can competently turn your 'idea' into a reality and be prepared to pay good money and travel for it. 

 

black market in the city centre has some great resident artists and some great guests regularly as well. 

 

BUT if they don't do something that you want then be prepared to drive / bus / train to a studio with an artist that does. 

 

don't ever restrict your search for a tattoo to a local shop. 

 

your post is super vague - what style do you want? have you seen something you like and want similar? do you have your own ideas? try to give some more info and i'll see if I can recommend some artists.

 

your best best is to search instagram and if you're absolutely set on not leaving the city to get ink then try #leicestertattoo to get started.

My brother in law uses them, the ones they've done for him are brilliant. Considering getting my first and will definitely go there on his recommendation.

Very nice. He did a couple of my brother in law’s, the most recent one is so stunning that I booked with him for my first tattoo. Very simple one and I absolutely adore it. In the middle of inking me I mentioned I was thinking of getting a Leicester City one and he pointed to a photo on the wall of him tattooing Vardy!

He’d retired because of the pandemic but appears to have gone back to Real Art now. Will probably ask him to do my LCFC one, seems apt.

I was mates with him at school, his realistic style tattoos are insanely detailed

How much are tattoos nowadays?

I had my lcfc one done about 25 years ago from somewhere in silver arcade and THAT was about £40-50 then.

Gotta say though mine is fecking sh1t.

It looks more like a horse than a fox!!!

I'll get one of the kids to take a pic and upload( if I know how to!!!)
