Anish Posted 25 October 2005 Posted 25 October 2005 Now theres a surprise Why? I feel people get carried away too easily on here - yes we've won 2 games out of the last 3, but we were poor against Burnley. Cardiff on the other hand have just whooped Crewe 6-1 and are on a great run. Plus our away form is appalling and one win against Watford isn't going to change that.
Louise Posted 25 October 2005 Posted 25 October 2005 I don't see why Levein would go for a draw, there are no replays. Surely he'll want it all wrapped up in the 90 minutes so he doesn't have to go into extra time and penalties.

I think we've got a very good chance of winning! Come on City!
julian_joach Posted 25 October 2005 Posted 25 October 2005 I think this is a prefect oppurtunity to see what hammond n hume an do together upfront, might aswell
Bert Posted 25 October 2005 Posted 25 October 2005 I think this is a prefect oppurtunity to see what hammond n hume an do together upfront, might aswell HUME IS CUP TIED!
Head Honcho Posted 25 October 2005 Posted 25 October 2005 I honestly think we will win, so much so i'm gonna put money on it. Don't ask me why I know this, but what ever the result is, its written in fate and we can't change it, but i feel I have hacked into fate's fatish fantasy and i'm gonna make money 2-2 City on penalties away win
Bert Posted 25 October 2005 Posted 25 October 2005 2-2 City on penalties away win How can leicester win 2-2 on penalties?
Cobbo Posted 25 October 2005 Posted 25 October 2005 Well Arsenal won 3-0 so no Ryan Smith Maybe Tiatto will come in on the left and Hamill or Sylla will be pushed up front? Stranger things have happened, such as Brian Carey playing premiership football.

You say that, and i agree, but not if you look at cup games under levein, in fact is pretty impecaable. Beat Blackpool Reading Charlton Bury, lost to blackburn. I think its somthing to do with the way cup games are played personally i think if teams try and attack us we can deal with them and win. Its when teams like Burnely try and nick points off us that we lose and we look poor. I don't see how we can win but have a funny feeling we will for some reason.
Lester LXXIV Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 Hume is cup tied De Vries has a calf injury + needs rest as we have another midweek game next week! Dublin needs rest for same reason as above! Hughes is injured ____________Douglas____________ Maybury McCarthy Gerrbrand Nils ____________Kisnorbo____________ Sylla Joey Williams Hamill ____________Hammond____________

Manwell Pablo Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 B**tard didn't realise that. Trouble is i've had £50 on Arsenal to win, thought they were a steal at evens! We cant play Smudger but at least ur 50 quid richer hey!? Think you should buy us all a drink!
Ric Flair Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 I don't think we'll win tonight, but if we get an early goal it might pan out differently. I think the team will be: Henderson Maybury Gerrbrand McCarthy Nils Sylla Gudjonsson Kisnorbo Hamill Stearman Elvis Subs: MDV, Chambers, Tiatto, Williams, Sheehan

Stearman up front??
Lets Be having You Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 What A NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB
Ric Flair Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 Hahahaaaa I wondered if anyone what pick up on that. I'd try him up there for a laugh, I think he could be dangerous up there. I saw him play upfront in a youth match once and he's like Crouchy.
Louise Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 Stearman up front? Even though Levein has said MDV might not be fit I think he'll still play, he's always 'struggling' before a game then playing in it. I think we'll have a pretty full strength squad tonight, but I hope we have some kids on the bench.
Louise Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 Anyway, Levein has said that if MDV isn't fit Dublin will play up front
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 October 2005 Posted 26 October 2005 Anyway, Levein has said that if MDV isn't fit Dublin will play up front HOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I like the defence but move our striker Stearman to right back and we need to rest Kisnorbo. He can't run now! He needs resting! Williams for Kisnorbo. Not sure. Not easy with so many players out! Out: Hume Smith de Vries Hughes Dion Kisnorbo (surely!)
