I doubt if anyone under forty even owns one. 🙁

Probably the best bit of advice for getting to sleep, I’ve been reading lord of the rings for about 15 years.

Read the match day thread if we aren't winning by 3 goals in the opening 15 minutes, will have you nodding off a treat.

Either that or will do your head in and send your blood pressure soaring

You can buy Zopiclone from the skanky homeless tw@ts that sit there begging outside TSB on Uppingham Rd.

7.5mg Zoppies are £1 each from the skanks.

Antihistamines can be decent if you do want to go down the pill route.

Promethazine hydrochloride 25mg is non addictive. I wouldn’t take it every day though as you may build up a psychological dependence on it.

I find OTC Cetirizine 10mg knocks me out cold. Horses for courses on that though as my ex wife said they didn’t touch her. I rarely touch it as I still feel the effects the next day.

I think melatonin was also mentioned.

I struggle immensely. Some nights gaining nothing at all but routinely I have 2 -4 hours. I’m 33 and been like this for nearly a year and was triggered by dads death.

Now im a mental health professional and a registered nurse. Medication hasn’t really  helped as it does not per se reset your sleep cycle and gp’s hate prescribing it.

Ive tried all sorts of mindfulness relaxation and other therapies to no avail. You he only thing that has worked for me long term is cannabis resin. I have a little before bed and an hour later I am sparko. No dreams no nothing. It’s not ideal but I sleep.

Perhaps if your interested you could try some cbd oil but unsure how effective that is. Hope this helps.

Ps. I’m not here for a lecture on the use of cannabis or cbd

It's the THC that makes it effective, so CBD oil will do nothing.

A heads-up, though - unless you are lucky enough to have access to pure resin, you are far better to cook with it, partly because you get more bang for your buck but largely because commercially produced resin is adulterated with all kinds of crap that you really don't want in your lungs.

Thanks for the correction man. I don’t smoke and never will. My old man died of lung cancer so we’ll never touch smoke.

I cook with it. A little oil over a low a heat and then into a yoghurt. Does me wonders.
